Spend of £4.27 today. Had a low spend week - great - need to spend nearly £12 on a tin of undercoat - Monday. I use my LO GC budget for such extras.
For dinner we had HM wedges + sausage roll, poached egg + roasted veggies.
I also made an All in One Cake - filling of chocolate spread. The filling was stiff so I added some icing sugar + milk.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I'd like to join please, really need to get spending under control. I'm feeding 2 adults, 2 children. Eldest DS starts school next week, so he'll get school lunches - £10 per week, youngest DS is still in nappies.
I'd like to be put down for £250 please. To run 1st - 30th September.
To include all toiletries and nappies. Fingers crossed!Books read 2023 - 49/750 -

If this is for diet purposes do remember though, complex carbs are very healthy and reducing fat is more beneficial than reducing carbs.
Thanks ditsy! It's not really for weight loss benefits (not that I don't need to lose weight!) my aunt was telling me she had tried one of those fasting diets, which got her to cut out carbohydrates 2 days a week. She said she had a lot more energy when she cut them out, and I wanted to see if I notice a differende. Every meal I have is heavily based around carbohydrates, so if I can manage to cut them out one day a week, I might jump up to 2 days a week.
Today is my first day without, and it's turned into a hunger day because I didn't manage to get any lunch until 4pm!0 -
I would like to join and put a target of £130 please
This morning I did a big shop - £67 - which should easily last us two weeks, but I'd like to see if I bring that down in the next few months to around £55/£50 for each big shop. We don't really shop in between big ones so it could be achievable by Christmas?£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
Hoping to stay below €170 in September

I'm going to be really awkward and change my budget AGAIN as we are now ordering dog food from tesco, so comes in with the shopping. I have a great dane, so he eats A LOT. Can I change it to £200 please. No idea if this is what it'll come out at. Might be too high. I'll adjust next month!October Grocery Challenge: £20.65/£150

Got quite a few spends to add unfortunately, but should make up for it later in the month.
£11 - Cheese stall - not just on cheese, he does decent sausages @ 8 for £1.20, also got 6 x 50g bags of beef jerky for £3 - my partner loves the stuff, I hate it personally, but it is usually £1 for 25g bags, so was a bargain treat for him, babybels 10 for £1, boursin peppery 2 for £1, 24 x small bags dry roasted peanuts for £1.20, 20 x freddo choc bars for £1 etc. so lots of bargains.
£17 ic*land. Got all my family coming round next weekend for a buffet style tea, will be doing HM quiche and HM pizzas but picked up a cheapy bag of saus rolls and chs & onion rolls because I just won't get time to make them and also got chick breast, bacon, cheese etc while there.
£4.95 - 99p Sto**s - toiletries & batteries - all of my boys toys seem to have run out of life at the same time.
£9 - £land - more toiletries (you know when it all runs out at once), scourers, some more take away container pots, large food storage pot etc.
£11.94 - Ald* - forgot to take list so bought more than I needed, but all stuff that will last and get used (passata, sweet pots, peppers, some more milk, tortilla wraps etc.)
And that is the lot, and won't need anything else until Tuesday when I will need some milk and bananas at the moment. Hoping for a low spends couple of weeks.
off to update sig now. xMum of 2 monkey. 4 yrs and 2 yrs :j
