    :hello: Evening all :D:D:D
Apologies, I haven't had an opportunity to catch up with everyone's news - but ((hugs)) for those in need.
Been a busy little bee the past couple of days, toe notwithstanding
Had my mock exam today - really wasn't into it at all; soon got stuck in and the tutor marked it before I left. Made THE most basic mistake ever - grrrr! (The 'R.T.F.Q.' one :o ) which would have counted as a fail. Still, forewarned is forearmed and I won't be making *that* mistake on Friday ;)
Had a wonderful coffee/cake morning with The Girls yesterday and successfully completed the cards and gift wrapping with moments to spare for the three of the group celebrating birthdays. Afterwards, one of them coerced me into going to look over the gym, extolling it's merits following her own week long membership. ;)
Ok, I fell for it :rotfl: By showing my student card I saved £6 pm membership fee's, so I jumped at the opportunity. :j :j :j
Following the mocks this morning, we went for our first "Pilates" class - hmm, what weird positions they expected of my limbs!!! Who knew they do that!!!??? Survived it though and all my limbs resumed their normal positions long enough so that I could walk out with a degree of dignity. Even my toe didn't cause too much of a problem (traitorous toe!!! :naughty: ) K didn't let me leave without signing up for more classes ... she's breaking me in gently ... only 10 classes to look forward to over the next week :o
Local college Open Day on Saturday, so I'll be going there to sign up for my next course - my 5yr life plan is all going swimmingly so far, so hopefully I'll get the course I need to stay on track. I've got a Plan B just in case though.
Having to be far more organised on the home front with so much going on and the meals I've made ahead and frozen - not to mention the inventory the boys helped prepare is a God send!
Car now has a name (don't laugh - it's after a song, which sort of sums up the story of the car in a way) - she has been official christened ... *drum roll please* .... "Dignity" (Deacon Blue). :D:D:D Suits her :D
Right, need to run, it's a swimming class tomorrow morning so an exfoliating session is on the cards methinks - I've got a lovely salt scrub I made that'll do the job nicely. :D
Catch up with you all later :D

See the spacing out again - another edit!

My Polo was Minty and our Fiesta was Bessie (big heavy diesel beast with no power steering. My Darling Gran's name was Bessie!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Our current two Peugot 106's haven't been given names! No personality maybe. Just referred to as the Green car (mine the the boys' seats as 4-door) and the Orange car (only 2 door)!

grannybroon - When my eldest two were really small they knew daddy's name, but when I asked my son (who must have been about 3 at the time) if he knew my name, he looked a bit bewildered and said "just mummy". I agree, nobody is just a mum - general factotum and slave would be more like it!

Thanks to everyone who wished me happy birthday. I still had to do the cooking - it would be nice if someone else could do it for a change. My dh's idea of giving me a day off from the cooking is to go to the chippy! I'm not a big lover of chips tbh though. Shame he can't cook. He can heat up beans though.

    Hi Justamum

At the moment we are going through a huge family thing with DGS1! He quite often calls his Daddy Kev (which we do) and he thinks Where's the cheese Louise is so funny (DD called Louise!). He is totally fascinated about the fact that Uncle isGranny's, son etc my brother is Great Uncle etc etc. He has never met my brother (lives in States) and can't quite get handle on that one. Managed to get the fact across at the weekend that Auntie Kate is my sister!

    Love GB

My sister and her DH have a Peugeot called "Pug"
    The name quite suits it.
(We once had an elderly yellow datsun called "Polly", but we didn't name her, she was already named when we bought her.):D

    I like Peggy!

"Pug" does seem to be a common name for Peuguot's. My old boss used to call his 1 pug.

Just popped downstairs for a smoke break! Ive been stranded upstairs whilst football is on!
