Well you will never guess what's just happened to me.

I've just met Prince Charles and he spoke to me about what I do. I was so excited I could hardly keep my voice from shaking.

    He was really lovely :D

He was at my work and we were all waiting (i.e. being kept away from him) anyway he gave us a wave and then he went to turn and leave and about 100 of us went arggggggg.

So he turned around and walked up to meet us. I was taking loads of pictures and he just started talking to me and asking what I do :D He was lovely and seemed really interested.

Some of the best pics I got:

Right, for some reason the pictures won't link into this message so you will need to have a look at the links (sorry)

Wow Tink - those pictures are excellent !!! i remember meeting Price Charles and Princess Diana many years ago when they visited Cornwall. That must have been about 1985/1986 - I was only a tiny little thing in infant school and I remember being so excited at meeting a price and princess !!!

Justamum - :smileyhea :bdaycake: :smileyhea Hope you have a lovely day today,

Well so far I have dropped the information into the EA's so hopefully will have some viewers this weekend, half scrubbed the kitchen, fed the cat, goldfish, dog and guineapig, been and done the fruit shop, booked DD in to have her hair done as they can't fit her in today and fed and watered the cabbage and broccoli plants.

My cabbage and broccoli plants have needed a lot of TLC this week. They were kindly donated to me by a fellow allotment holder - unfortunately he went on holiday last week to Cornwall and left his daughter in charge of his plants and she forgot to water them (well she remembered 1 night :o ) So I have bought them home this week for some TLC and lots of water before I plant them out on Saturday !!!

Hope eveyone is having a nice day.

    T xx

    Afternoon all

<<<Hugs>>> to those who are feeling unwell or unhappy.
Tinkerbell, brilliant pics, thank you for posting.

Been to the gym this morning, and stopped at the farm shop for veggies. Got home and tidied the kichen, then made this month's butter - salted, lightly salted, unsalted, and lots of garlic butter. All in the freezer now. Everything washed up and tidy.

Kitchen cupboard cleaning/reorganising has been going well. I've boxed up a load of mugs to go in the loft. Everything that gets boxed up now is inventoried on a spreadsheet, and cross labelled, to make it easier to find later. Eventually I'd like to go through all the carp that's in the loft and do the same, but that's a big job, so I decided to just start with any stuff that gets put in there from now on.

Lunch was watercress soup, left over from last night's dinner. Got a financial guy coming round this afternoon for our annual review, so have been pulling together all our information.

Dinner tonight will be Chicken Patak's, with rice and hm naan. I made some yoghurt last night especially to use today. Hiope it stays warm out as I love eating outside.

Our raspberry bushes are starting to fruit, so I'm collecting them and storing them in a vacuum dish. Hopefully I'll get enough to make jam soon. The strawberries are to die for, and rarely make it to the fridge.

Spoke to the man who is doing our fence, he's currently running two weeks behind. At least our neighbours haven't had any noisy parties lately, no more ambulances have turned up, so it doesn't matter too much.

Will pop in later to catch up on all who follow. Have a great afternoon everyone xxxxx Hazel
