    Morning all.

I should be at work, but I've been having pc problems. Last night I should've backed up my pc, but it kept crashing. Turned out it was the new virus checker crashing it. So I've had to buy a new one, and had to wait up to 24 hours for it to become active. Started a virus check this morning, thinking it would take half an hour - and it's still going. Almost an hour later. Didn't want to backup any nasties, so doing the virus check first.

Bins went out last night for the dustmen today.

When I get to work, it's more of the same, getting my magazine passed and to the printer.

    Tonight I have a date.

    Have a good day.

    Goodmorning everyone,
Thanks for your hugs and kind thoughts. They really mean a lot. Got a email from DD this morning and Benny is fretting something awful. I told her to keep an eye on how much he's eating and if he's off his usual food, go to the butchers for some treats to keep him interested. Roll on 20 days.
I forgot to tell you that I've heard from Kaz a few times lately :o and she is fine.
    Grannyboon Hugs to your friends.
Csarina Glad DH is coming along. Could you pm your exact instructions on how you made your cordial?
    Stef Have a great holiday
Pam Good luck at the hospital.
Well better make tracks, and thanks again for your kind hugs. :A

    Good Morning All

Just a quick one again, running late.

Woke up at 3.40am, I think my body clock is getting used to being woken up, what with Charlie etc. However, he decided to sleep in DS's room and sneeked in there at 5.30am. He payed DLB a visit yesterday in her kitchen! Nothing like being Top Cat of the neighbourhood!

Thanks ref the Anthea Turner catowen doubt I will get to watch it, as I think England are playing later. No doubt OH will want to watch that!

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments yesterday ref me finding my money! grannybroon I had to laugh that you nearly laughed at work when you read about it. I Found my passport ages ago, put it somewhere safe as I know I had to re-new it, come to find it as I was filling in my replacement forms - do you think I can! Nooooo! Ive still not found it to this day!

    Anyway, best be off
(((hugs))) to those who need them!
    Take care

    Morning all

Still got DD2 off from school today - her cut on her knee has gone all gooey - I won't go into details but it's gross......looks like an infection, have just given her a salt bath and dried it off with a hairdryer to take some of the wetness out of it - will be off to the walk in centre this afternoon to see if she needs some antibiotic....poor little thing.

Missing DD1 like crazy - she's home Friday but it seems like she's been away for months.

Going to completely deep clean the bathroom today - everything's coming out and then the steam cleaner is going in - wish me luck.

Sausage splat for tea - or sausage burgers - depending on time.

Hope you all have a great day.

Morning everyone I hope you're all well and happy for me to join you again. I've not had a chance to read everyone's posts yet - you lot start early! - but I hope that everyone is well...

I'm v.tired - was at governor training about child protection last night until about 10pm then kept up half the night with my mum on the phone, she's manic depressive so have to take the rough with the smooth! Today shouldn't be too eventful I don't think though I've got ane exclusion hearing at school tonight (it all seems to be about school at the moment and I don't even have any children!!) and somehow need to get the house to a reasonable state as it's being revalued tomorrow morning... so fingers crossed on that one.

Not too horrendous a day ahead at work - I hope - and I've just heard that my colleague has managed to get her sons school to let him sit his GCSEs today as he's just been declared no longer contagious with his chicken pox... so I'm hoping that's a good omen...

Best wishes and big hugs to everyone will try and keep up to speed now!! xxx

    Morning all!

Am feeling really yuck at the moment, everyone I know with Fibro is feeling the same, bleh! Must be the weather or something. Got my support group mag yesterday and am tempted to write another article, not sure what though! I am the Young Persons Rep for my group :)

Not planning to do much today. This mornings task is to sort the washing out and have a bath, then it's waiting for the supermarket delivery and then I am tutoring this evening. Hopefully I'll manage a nap inbetweentime, if I can manage it!

Had a really busy day and overdid it! The flat is still a mess though! Ugh. I went to a farm shop on the road from my town to Mrs_mix's but gosh I wanted to cry! The clientele now seem to be yuppies and they were so rude to myself and the shop staff (who were lovely), so next time I'll just visit the open farm and not go to the shop! I'm not sure what to do fresh food wise now though-we need meat, fruit and veg, and I owe OH a birthday treat still (his birthday was in April, eek!) so we might pop to the city tomorrow and take advantage of one of the butchers and the stalls at the Open Market and have lunch at the Chinese buffet that opened along the road last year but we've not managed to visit due to my health. We'll see eh?

Will be up early tomorrow finishing job applications, saying that, I might finish one today and get that emailed off, then I just have one more to go after that-well, until the TES job alerts tell me there are others to do!!

Sending huge hugs to the following: PenPin, Aussielass, Pam and everyone else who needs/wants

    Good morning all!

Busy day today, and not had time to read all the posts properly yet.

DH is still off work, as he has hurt his shoulder very badly, so needs to rest it. Why is it that men can never find something to do if they're at home?

This morning we will go to a coffee morning at church, then this afternoon is our regular monthly service at a nearby care home for the elderly, which I am leading (in fact I am supposed to be typing up my talk right now, but just popped in here to say hello) Then this evening we have the kids' clubs. I help at the younger group (5 - 9's) and DH helps with the older ones (9-14 year olds) At roughly the same time DS goes to Boys Brigade at another church in the town, so DH takes him there while I'm in the meeting, then I bring him home while DH is at his group. At least the timings all work out ok.

Aussielass - sorry to hear about your dog - how awful for you being so far away

PennyPincher - hope you're feeling better today

((((hugs))) to anyone who needs them, or just likes hugs.

    Have a good day:hello:

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. HELLO

Am new to this OS stuff and boy i wish i found it sooner, but hey i am a few days in and it is making mee feel a bit better abo the finances and might make me a better more organised person.

Last night i did an inventory of food for dinners, this morning i am doing the lunch box inventory and then gonna work out what else i am gonna need to buy for the rest of the month. Am doing much better than i thought.

Have started a Holiday box we go away in about 7 weeks gonna slowly find what i have in the house and what i need to buy and write it all on the box lid so i am up to date it sounds like a plan fingers crossed. So far i have the shampoo, aftersun, showergel and babywipes.
