    Morning all,
Hugs to Aussielass - sorry to hear about your little dog. I hope her friend picks up quick. When one of my cats died his sister really missed him for quite a long time (as did we) but she eventually picked up. We just gave her many many cuddles, partly for our good as well as hers!

Didn't get time to read anyone elses msgs yesterday so sorry if I've missed giving hugs etc. Hope every1 is ok.

Had a bad couple of days for some reason. Been busy but don't seem to have got too much done and still so much more to do. Lots to do at allotment - why do I have to have the allotment next to the couple who grow theirs like a perfect cottage garden? Garden needs a load of work and all my containers outside the kitchen door need revamping. And as for house - sob. Of course, neighbour that shares courtyard keeps her bit perfect too. One of these days I'll grow up and have a grown-up house!

Kitten still a lot of fun and getting into everywhere! I went out for an hour yesterday and forgot to close his cage. Came back and could not find him. He'd got out, and climbed upstairs and hidden. Luckily none of the adult cats had been nasty to him but he was very very stressed. Lots of frantic eating and then loads of comfort suckling. I'm getting little lovebites around my neck from that! Then later I put him at his bowl of milk in our living room, walked over to give senior cat food in the kitchen and turned round and stepped on the little guys' toe! He moved super fast!

Yesterday started with me not being able to access my computer money package. Looks like the file is corrupt and the data can't be accessed :( Waiting for OH to come home tonight to try restore a monday back-up.
Today started by me moving the coffee cafetiere into the bathroom so the kitten didn't knock it over - and it falling into the bath and breaking. Arrgh. What is it with this week?

Oh well, can only get better. Sorry for the rant!
    Take care all,

Good morning all, I'm new to this daily thread thing. I was going to join in yesterday but my internet connection kept going off. Thankfully it is fixed now I go a bit jittery when I can't get online :o

As luck would have it I had more to talk about yesterday. I made red pepper and sweet potato soup and bread rolls. The weather was so warm the dough seemed to rise more than ever. I put it out in my horrible lean-to with a plastic roof, it gets really warm in there. Also made muffins from some raspberries that wouldn't have lasted much longer, put some white choc in too.:D

Today I have put the washing on and taken DS to school and thats about it. I have no idea whats for dinner. I have potatoes, eggs, broccoli, cheese, carrots, a butternut squash, red peppers and all the usual cupboard stuff. I was thinking quiche but my DH doesn't eat cheese.

Morning All !!! Gosh you are all early birds !!!

I have a busy day today too. Got to go the the EA to update the information on our house details and also to tell them the for sale sign went up today. I really want to sell this house quick because the house we have put an offer in on has a massive garden and right at the bottom of the garden is our allotment !! DH said last night there might be room for the Chickens I have always wanted !!! :T

Also have to go and do a fruit/veg shop today and then off to Mr T's tonight for the weekly shop. Again DH is really getting in to this money saving and OS way of things because he has realised he will get 2 small holidays out of it this year - a long weekend to Lego Land and a long weekend to EuroDisney.

Need to transfer money to the savings account too - not as much as I would have liked because DS decided to cut DD's hair and it is a right mess  so a trip to the hairdressers is also on the cards for tody.

And then all the usual things like house work, touhing up the paint work and, like a lot of you on here, my ironing/washing pile is getting dangerously high :o

Aussielass - ((big hugs)) about your little doggie hun.

chips - Try not to work too hard today - I hate busy days especially when the sun is shining like it is here.

SP - What a time for your friends son to get Chicken Pox  I managed to break my wrist right at the start of my GCSE's and they had to allow extra time and everything !!

Ohhhh just noitied that tonight is Apprentice night !!! I love that programme and I love Sir Alan Sugar !! No offence but I really cannot stand AntheaTurner

Will do some more catching up later. Hope you all have lovely days.

    T xx

Me too, it's getting quite worrying as he is old enough to be my dad. He does have a touch of the Gordon Ramsays about him. Maybe I just like bossy men :D

    Twink,
I have a yoggie maker from lakeland, it cost 19.95 but is worth every penny; I put 2 tablespoons of yoghurt, 2 ozs of dreid milk into it and fill it up with milk to the line, put it on the time switch, comes on at midnight, by 8am you have a pot of perfect yoggie..............take the inner container out and put it in the fridge.......I buy a new pot of yoghurt once a month and start off a new lot, otherwise, just save 2 tablespoons from each batch.
OH continues to progress, this morning is wrinkles day at B & Q and they have the doors we want on offer, so with 10% off will cost me less than £40 for 2 glass doors, if we go for the ordinary doors it will be cheaper..............
Dull morning, cooler too, but as far as I am concerned thats not a bad thing, I have to bank a cheque for an ebay sale and get padded envelopes from Wilkos for it and something else I have to post off.
I am sleeping quite well just now, better than I have done for years, someone told me about a natural remedy that had helped them, took it for 2 months and it has worked for me.....recommended it to a friend in the US as well, its cheaper there than here about half price.
Right, cuppa, then off to the shops.....................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Natzini - do you mean Cystic Fibrosis? My Dad suffers from that and is affected by the weather

Well I'm at work (as usual) trying to muster some enthusiasm, it's hard sometimes when you're in an office all on your lonesome :p

Put a load in the WM before I left this morning, so hopefully will be able to put it on the line when I get home (about 3.30pm). Mount Everest needs tackling and I need to sew DD's badge onto her sash for Brownies tonight (I've only had 2 weeks to get it done :rotfl: ). Dinner tonight will be tomato and sweetcorn pasta for DD, and spag bol with garlic bread for DH and I.

Talking of missing people - has anyone seen Ticklemouse recently

    Have a great day everyone.
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Hugs about the dog Aussie - seems worse being so far away.

Quickie before DD (dressed as Minnie Mouse dontcha know) and I head out to the park. I wish the weather would warm up. Got the kids sandals at the weekend and now it's freezing.

Got some leeks and potatoes left over from my veggie burgers last night so guess what I'm going to do with them? Make tomato soup! naahh course not. Good old leek and potato soup, one of my faves. mmmm

Extra day at home for me today - MIL is off on holiday so I get to look after the kids. It's just great. Loving justabout every minute (not the ones where DD is so clingy that I can't even leave the room for 2 seconds with out hearing "Mummy" and the patter of little feet) We're having a good day though. She's sitting beside me playing the guitar - like the music?

Right - better finish putting the ironing away - the pooter is right outside the bedrooms so I just "happened" to switch it on as I was passing with the piles of ironing.

Hello all, welcome to the newbies. Hugs to all in need.

Havent had chance to read the thread for a few days. Been a bit stressed out. Am packing today to travel up-county for the scattering of my parents ashes. They both passed away within 5 months of each other last year and its taken this long to get everything sorted out. This will be the final farewell, and then I can concentrate on getting back to work. Have been off work for over 12 months, and strangely enough, Im actually looking forward to going back.

Anyway, must get on as got things to do. Will try to check in later. If not, see you all again next Tuesday.

    Morning all

I can't believe how many posts there are on this thread and it's only 11am! Just took me ages to read it and now I've forgotten the lot! Except for Stefejb have a great holiday!

Thanks for the warm welcomes yesterday, I've been waiting for the boss to go out so I can catch up on MSE this morning then I might fit in a bit of work in a little while ;)

Feel exhausted today, had a nightmare moment with my youngest dd last night AND this morning, I won't go into it too much but it involves her removing her own nappy and then giving me the contents. She'll be 2 in a couple of weeks, I'm really hoping she moves out of this stage pretty soon, didn't happen with my other 2 thankfully!!

So after having to sort that out just as I was about to walk out of the door this morning I was late for work again, seem to be flustered practically everyday now, I need to radically change my lifestyle and become more organised I think.

Hope everyone's having a nice day?
