@caw379 and @mrspydey I got in touch with my MA as he said he was hoping to hear back today or tomorrow, so me being me, waited until about 3pm before checking. He said that he’s hoping to hear back in next couple of days as HSBC are busy.

@yelaro I stupidly read a few articles today about HSBC being the only high st offering 10% atm, and that they are super busy because of it and have only so many they are letting be approved a day. So makes sense that they are behind ha! Hope we hear back soon!

@caw379 and @mrspydey let’s hope it’s our mortgage applications they’re approving then! Yes MA said there’s only 3 lenders at the moment doing 90%ltv 😬

Arrrghhh!! MA has just said got in touch to tell me I’ve got to wait another three more working days because HSBC have such a back log 😭

I feel that argh! We got told that when a new piece of info goes in they are working on a five day turn around - we submitted more paperwork Tuesday so also have a wait

@caw379 I haven’t had to submit any further paperwork since 29th so two weeks now since we put application in. Hate this wait! Arggghhhh!!! 😫

I’m still waiting on HSBC, have also been told they are behind on usual service times. This is week 5, moving in to week 6.

 Had no real update for 2 weeks other than they are busy. Got promised last week it would be reviewed by end of Thursday, then Friday was just told they’re behind. Tuesday was told because partner is self employed it has to go to a specialist team, regardless of whether he’s been affected by Covid or not (which he hasn’t and they were told that at the start) and that we should have an update by Friday. 

Not sure why it’s taken 5 weeks to be sent to this team? but never mind. I expect tomorrow the update will be that they’re still busy or further documents requested which will mean another 2 weeks of waiting before they’re reviewed.

Oh gosh @Bowley theres nothing I can say to make that any better other than say how rubbish it is and that your not alone! Lets hope its good news tomorrow and not another 2 weeks for you
