All of our documents have been provided to the broker (via Habito, so I'll let you know how that goes)
Because our vendor is buying a ready-built property and we have no backwards chain, everyone (except us) is desperate to move quickly!
Unfortunately, our deposit is rather complicated and I hope it doesn't get us jammed up (Part savings, part inheritance which happened months ago, so don't want to go after probate solicitors for a letter unless we have to).
Part of my deposit is from an inheritance I received 7 months ago, I kept the letter from solicitor who delt with probate but in addition to that I needed to show what account the money was paid into (current account) I transferred it to a savings account so had to send proof of that account, I then had to move some again because I’d gone over the maximum savings limit on that account so then had to send proof of that account aswell!
I know it’s a pain but if you get your mortgage it’s worth the hassle.0 -
Ah ok. My Mum did most of the probate (although the solicitor signed it off, so I guess I could ask my Mum). I have a copy of the will, but it doesn't talk about exact figures. The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

Thank you all so much!!
Hopefully you all get progress soon.
I felt like I waited FOREVER.
But looking back at it.
I put the application in on the 3rd, natwest started it the 5th and approved yesterday
When you look at it using working days it really wasn't long at all.
Been bombarded with paperwork today and get the keys on the 4th!0 -
