  • Hi just thought I'd update.
So as you know we went to Nationwide.
    22nd Feb full app.
    26th Feb sent further documents
    Radio Silence
    14th March Requested more documents
    15th March sent documents
20th March returned to underwriters query on affordability.
27th March offer received for full amount.

Breathe a huge sigh of relief.

We never had a physical valuation was automatically verified by building society and we don't need a survey as we are buying house we live in from parents.

Can anybody advise how long they had to wait from valuation to mortgage offer?

Our valuation is today after having to wait 3 weeks. We originally had an exchange date of the 3rd April - but obviously this will need to be put back.

just wondering how far back from the 3rd the delay in the valuation will push it?

Finally have our valuation booked! However it is 2 weeks down the line!

ma that sucks! But I guess at least its booked now. I'm really hoping our will go ahead tomorrow and not be delayed for whatever reason!

I think if I had known TSB were going to go so slow I would have opted for a different provider as well but I guess the MA at the time didn't know TSB were going to be swarmed with applications. He must have enjoyed his week off from me this week whilst I've been waiting!

I hope your finding things to keep your find off it. I've been really struggling with sleep this week worrying about it. My solicitor still thinks that April 4th might be doable for the Exchange but I just don't see it happening personally...:eek::eek:

We have our valuation day today!

It was certainly not easy to get to, or stay, asleep last night.

I have my fingers crossed that it all happens this morning and we get everything via email this afternoon or early evening.

At least the added benefit for me is I don't have to worry about work for 2 weeks after today as its the last day of school!

But still if it doesn't come through today then we'll be waiting until at least Tuesday.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
