  • 8/1/18 - AIP
13/2/18 - put in mortgage application through broker with Nationwide FTB.
16/2/18 - valuation booked (and presumably done!)

I've not had a text or anything to say it's been done, is this normal? I'm so impatient. I'm scared my overdraft will mean we get a no :(
  • 23/01 dip
    26/01 full application
    29/01 more info needed
14/02 mortgage approved subject to valuation
    19/02 mortgage offer in post

Nail biting to say the least but we got there in the end
  • Still no news from nationwide applied on the 29th January valuation was transfered from previous application and approved on the 14th February. But still no offer or decline text. The wait is driving me mad, I'm actually sick of checking my phone !!!129314;

Glad to hear that. Who have you applied for a mortgAge with again? And are you on talking / contact terms with your vendor?

Any news Fisa002, my valuation is tomorrow. Keeping everything crossed.
  • I'm in the process of trying to plan ahead to get a mortgage, I got told by an advisior last year I had very little chance as I am self Employed and buying on my own. Been trying everything since to take a more active role in my finances and understand eveyrthing,

    Keeping everything crossed for you!

We have a complicated history, so have gone with Pepper for our mortgage.

In a unique twist of fate, my husband actually works with one of the vendors - a fact we didn't know until we knocked on their door for a second viewing (I did the first viewing alone), so yes we're on speaking terms with them. Her partner is a builder, so we're looking at having some internal work done just before completion, which he's willing to do as well.
  • FTB - new to forum but find reading other posts helps settle my nerves :)

    5/2/18 1st offer - rejected
    6/2/18 2nd offer - accepted
11/2/18 DIP and full application made - Nationwide
    14/2/18 Valuation took place
    14/2/18 Valuation results received
15/2/18 Case passed for full assessment

Now for the nervous wait to see if we've been accepted. Does anyone have any experience with Nationwide how long it takes for them to look at your file.

Super impatient and nervous! Although hasn't been long at all its all i can think about! Waiting on offer before I feel i can start start bugging solicitor.

Have you heard anything impatient-ftb ?
