Can I join please;
02/09/2017 - offer accepted
04/09/2017 - morthage application to NatWest
08/09/2017 - NatWest requested more payslips from partner, as he gets shift allowance
09/09/2017 - valuation fee paid
10/09/2017 - partner took payslips to a branch
12/09/2017 - valuation booked for 14/09/2017
12/09/2017 - NatWest rang to say they haven't received the payslips yet! Stupid branch lost them. Gave partner email address to send them too
It's such a nerve racking and stressful business. We have already lost 2 houses due to a mortgage advisor error and the other to the seller accepting another offer and wanting us to just race to the finish line, so we pulled out. So needless to say I am more nervous and scared than excited right now. I hope they accept my partners shift allowance otherwise we are doomed! I did read they accept 100% so hope it's right!0 -
Hi Guys
After much stalking I finally get to join this thread - super scary and stressful already.
06/9/17 - Met broker, handed over all docs and did factfind
09/9/17 - view 4 house, really love number 3, sleep on decision
10/9/17 - put in offer - accepted an hour later!
11/9/17 - API sorted with Pepper
11/9/17 - solicitor instructed -
12/9/17 - full application put in
Now to stress and worry about the valuation - there is some damp that needs fixing, the vendors actually had a full survey done themselves so I know what to expect - just hoping I don't have any stupid conditions or retentions on my offer (assuming I get one).0 -
Just to add to mine;
12/09/2017 - NatWest called to say our mortgage has been approved subject to valuation, yippee! :j0 -
We had a letter today saying our new house has been valued at £0 - I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean they'll be handing it over for free :eek: :rotfl:
I think it's because it has over 10 acres of land, which I told broker at the start and he said the underwriter had said it was fine. Don't believe a word he says any more :rotfl: Solicitor says it should be fairly straightforward to split it and pay cash for part of the land and mortgage for the house and 'garden'.
Losing any thought of being in by Christmas - or even at all at this rate :eek:0 -
Well, it was Thursday last week that Santander sent me a text message to say my application had been received and I've had no feedback.0
