Yet Another Update!!!

Chased Connells and they agreed to do the survey tomorrow morning instead of next week!

Bricking it now that this will come back ok and we get a mortgage offer 😫😫😫😫

11/8 Offer accepted
11/8 DIP put in
14/8 DIP approved
14/8 All docs sent to broker for full app
17/8 survey fee taken out
18/8 email received to say that a survey will be done 23/8
22/8 valuation moved to 30/8

6th September - MORTGAGE OFFER :j:j:j

Me and the wife are absolutely made up. Been needing to get this mortgage for quite a long time but circumstances stopped us.

06/08/17 - Plot Reserved
11/08/17 - Chat with advisor
17/08/17 - Got Application Form
21/08/17- Application Received and Scanned
23/08/17 - Passed 1st checks and passed to underwriter
25/08/17 - Surveyor booked for 4/9
04/09/17 - Surveyor Been
05/09/17 - BS received Survey

spoke to mortgage broker this morning she said should have an update later today guess what no update gonna crack a few beers to chill seriously dong my head in

Feeling the nerves now...

21st Aug - Plot released (new build)
23rd Aug - DIP Halifax (via broker, L&C)
26th Aug – Plot reserved, fee paid
29th Aug – Instructed conveyancer (bit keen maybe?)
30th Aug – Discussion with L&C
30th Aug – HTB application completed and sent back to L&C
31st Aug – Mortgage application submitted to Leeds Building Society (L&C found a better mortgage deal with LBS than with Halifax)
1st Sept – Credit search appeared on credit report from LBS
1st Sept – Additional documents requested by LBS
2nd Sept – Additional documents posted to L&C

Hoping L&C process our additional documents tomorrow and get these back to LBS.
No word on valuations or anything yet.
Seller (Bellway) have given us until 7th October to exchange... hoping this is still realistic!?

Had my valuation and survey carried out by Colleys last week. Valuation came back fine and have mortgage but have been told the survey can take 10 days to be written. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see if the house is ok.

Thanks. Our survey is booked for 15th September, still expecting to wait till the end of the month for our offer (all being well).
