Update, we have now submitted our full application. Our broker thinks that we should be OK but nothing is certain. I have set myself up for a decline as at least that way I will not be disappointed.0

Waiting to see if I get referred to an underwriter for further questions, although mortgage broker assures me that affordability doesn't appear to be an issue - I had a pretty chunky spend in August for various reasons.
Nerve-wracking - we love this house.0 -

Still waiting for the mortgage to be approved, Vendors getting nervous as both surveys being done at the same time and the bank has not arranged it yet ! Threatening to put he house back on the market not much I can tell them !!!0

Just been informed that the valuation is taking place best Tuesday. Fingers crossed it should all be ok0

07/09: DiP applied for and received (via broker).
10/09: Offer made and accepted on property.
22/09: Full application made to Nationwide by broker.
23/09: Valuation booked.
27/09: Valuation carried out.
28/09: Valuation received by Nationwide, reviewed and accepted.
29/09: Mortgage offer issued.
Eight days from full application to the offer being issued- very pleased with that. 85% LTV and at the top of our affordability too.0 -

Our survey was done Tuesday we had offer 9am Thursday, we were agreed subject to valuation.0 -
Don't post much but - 31 and never had a mortgage due to bad credit in my younger days. Spent the last 5 years living with parents repaying my debts. Nearly all gone....
Applied through a Broker with Barclays. Provisional acceptance and then.....refusal.
She tried with Natwest.....and said it had been accepted. I didn't want to believe her and get my hopes up.
Natwest took the valuation fee from my bank yesterday afternoon.
Have I got there?!!?!?0
