    Update on mine:

Thursday 16th June - applied online in the evening and accepted. Apparently no physical valuation required based on the information provided, so house was valued at my desired figure and we achieved 58%. Is that normal?!

Friday 17th June - submitted requested evidence via email, 3 months payslips for each of us. Online tracking page updated. Allocated solicitor.

Friday 17th June - Completed solicitor remortgaging pack online and printed out/signed

Saturday 18th June - posted completed conveyancing pack via recorded post

Monday 20th June - Nationwide processed payslips that I'd emailed and I then received text and email to confirm a mortgage offer has been made and is on the way in the post. Insanely quick.

Tuesday 21st June - Solicitors received my paperwork and have already processed it

Mortgage offer arrived via post on Friday 24th. Almost glad it was 'pre-brexit'!

Talking of Brexit, has anyone seen an increase of mortgages being declined since it happened?

Are we seeing any affects so far or is it to early?

I only ask as we applied on 9th June and had our valuation carried out on 22nd, not heard anything since then....

Thought I'd add our process so far. Only starting and hoping it will be as quick and painless as possible. 95% mortgage with TSB.

    17.05.2015 - AIP from TSB
    07.06.2016 - First viewing
    13.06.2016 - Second viewing
    15.06.2016 - Offer accepted
    17.06.2016 - Full application in

    Waiting game begins now....

    Update to our process.

23.06.2016 - Valuation and survey conducted
29.06.2016 - TSB mortgage offer issued

Process took less than 2 weeks, from full application. Extremely relieved that the wait for the mortgage offer is over :-)

Waiting for our mortgage decision is actually driving me around the bend

Application was submitted to Virgin Money through our broker on 13th of June

17th of June - they ask for my P60 and for us to sign a declaration
27th June - they query my partners child maintenance deduction on his payslips (had already been disclosed)
29th June - we are told they will lend us £X amount, but that £X amount is £10k less than our house price (which is a new build, reservation already done, so price agreed). This isn't the end of the world, we can (thankfully) get another £10k together to bridge the gap. The reason for the £10k less is apparently due to his child maintenance deductions.

30th of June - No news yet from my broker regarding the questions we asked him about the £10k additional funds. The valuation is due to take place today, if that doesn't come back agreeing to the developer then I suspect we won't be able to move forward.

The waiting is stressing me out enormously.

So, it's been 2 weeks since my last post and still !!!!!! all has happened!

I got a call last Tuesday from Countrywide again thinking I was the vendor and trying to book an appointment with me, I cant understand why this keeps happening, so frustrating! I also couldn't understand why two different branches of surveyors had been instructed as I had spoken to Legal and General just a few days before.

It seems that my Vendors are delaying the process once again, it took them 2 weeks to let the valuation happen last time and its again been 2 weeks! I just don't understand why they are delaying.

My offer was accepted on the 18th May I can't believe we are now going into July and I still have no mortgage offer even close.

I forgot to mention, searches have all been done, draft contract is in and everything!

I applied the mortgage with santander on 20th of June 2016 and had the validation on 30th of June. still waiting for the offer. Anyone please help me when i will get the offer?

I finally have news! It's been over 2 weeks since application was submitted with Santander and I got a bit antsy this morning so I spoke to the vendors who informed me that the valuation was done on Friday (I was still thinking it hadn't even been booked!) I then received an email and text from Santander saying they were pleased to tell me my mortgage offer had been issued.

This is obviously fantastic that things are moving along but I am terrified from my previous experience that when I get the offer it will be less than the asking price which I'm in no position to make up the difference.

Can anyone advise if this is can happen?
