Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

I thought I'd join in as we have recently taken the plunge. We had our DIP with Skipton approved for the amount we needed. This had to be referred as our broker explain my past with pay day loans. Our offer was accepted!! I'm just panicking and constantly googling worrying that everything will fall through! I have my full application appointment booked for the weekend!
As we were referred is it likely to take longer? Does anyone have any ideas?0 -
Hello, can I join please? We submitted our full application with Precise last week. Then we had to send in more copies of our documents as the photocopies weren't great and they are apparently assessing our app tomorrow. I'm so nervous, I feel sick and completely stressed out, convinced it will be a straight out 'no'. If it goes to survey tomorrow I'll be so relieved!0

I'm so happy my mortgage has been approved subject to valuation. I had a number of defaults in 2012 but cleared all last year. So happy :rotfl:0

Congrats banks4u!
We have been asked to provide copies of last months bank statement me to verify our income and proof of deposit. Panicking as my partner uses his arranged overdraft. My broker said we have passed the credit check but apparently Halifax can do extra checks if they want to. So anxious can't wait for this all to just be done!0 -
Congrats banks4u we still waiting to hear back from Halifax, awaiting amended val report but that was a week ago0

From our experience with precise, they will instruct the valuation before its with the underwriters. Unless there is anything to make it a glaring no before this, unfortunately having the valuation instructed does not mean anything. Good luck though.0 -
We're waiting to hear back from Woolwich. Apparently valuation is instructed. Not sure if this means it gone through underwriting or not?!
Hope to hear today but my broker is slow0 -
We submitted our full application to Woolwich yesterday via broker and I'm so anxious! How long did it take for it to progress to valuation Alice Kate?
Thanks!0 -

Thanks!
I don't know to be honest I'm fuming lol being told different things by Woolwich and broker.
I don't think that a valuation has even been instructed. The broker is telling me literally the opposite story of woolwich
I hope you have a better experience!0 -
Argh HSBC are so slow! We submitted our application on the 31st March and they did credit checks on 7th April after we had submitted all of the documentation we requested but we've still heard nothing! DH has chased up our broker today to see if they can give us any timelines, I've no idea what they are waiting for...Savings target: £25000/£25000
