  • Valuation has been booked for Thursday! EEK
  • I am applying with Precise Mortgages. So far they have completed the valuation and we are just waiting for an offer. I would like to think we are getting an offer, as I would be really annoyed if they keep the Valuation Fee we paid them.

Anybody with experience on Precise Mortgages.

    10th - House Viewed
    11th Jan - Put offer
    13th Jan - offered accepted
14th Jan - Memorandum of sale received
    15th -AIP accepted by Leeds
16th -Full application submitted by Broker
22nd - Mortgage declined due to an AP ( I paid my overdraft in 2014 voluntarily but Nationwide put an AP on my credit score, appealed with Omusbam but I lost it as Nationwide claims to have made clear to me that the AP would affect me in future).

25th -AIP approved by Kent reliance they disregarded the AP as it has been 2 years.Thank God my only chance .
26th -Referred to underwriter-then accepted to submit the whole application
    27th-Full application submitted by broker
28 - so nervoussss !!!!Please wish me luck xxxxI wish all the best XXxx

01/02 - underwritter asked various things on my paylisps
02/02-enquired about every single line on my bank statement
03/02- asked for my payslip for Feb
4/5 underwriter requested to see my bank statement at the end of Feb 29th and said will then make a decison :(

Meanwhile we haven't instructed the valuation and the vendor moved out this weekend
Although we explained to him that no offer has been made yet
Completion is meant to be on the 10th of March provided that we get the offer
We are debating whether to get the valuation but if it fall through we will loose the money.
If we get an offer then hopefully then it will speed up the process meaning we may be able to complete on the 10th of March .But I really don't want to have high hopes :(

after waiting 4 whole weeks I hope that the underwriter is happy with my statement ( is flawless ,only paid food and utility bills this month and I am still surplus)
and finally decide on a offer or not :o

This waiting game is killing me :o

I know the feeling, I have provided everything to Precise and got notification from Credit Expert of a full Credit Search by them early in the process. My broker seems hopeful but at this point, I am tired of waiting as Valuation was done last week and he still has not heard from them.
  • I'm still waiting to hear from Nationwide, I was told last week all docs are fine and signed off and it has been sent to Glasgow, apparently we should hear by COB on Tuesday.

I have resigned myself to the fact that it will be bad news, its just frustrating that due to their errors and their errors alone, it has taken 4 weeks, if they do not approve it, it leaves me with hardly anytime to go elsewhere. The valuation was carried out 2 days after the full app was put in, if they didn't make the monumental !!!! up with that, I should've/would've known no later than the second week in Feb if not the first.
  • Glad to see some progress! Keeping things crossed for you all!

We've had valuation confirmed for tomorrow, which I am so pleased about! The valuation has to be back to them within 24 hours and then they have an SLA of 1 day to review apparently. So, all being well, that might mean we have a decision by the end of the week... but I'll believe it when I see it!
  • I'm so concern as we paid for the valuation, which I think is OK if they do it, once they know they have checked all the other bits, don't see the point of charging mortgage applicants for valuation if they are going to deny it. Help please, am I ok to be concern or am I just freaking out for no reason. Thanks

Our valuation and full buildings survey was done last Tuesday, and I still don't have the report!! have rung them and they said it has been done and they will email it to me within 7 working days, so rang yesterday, it was on her desk, I might get it yesterday, or today at the latest.
They only have to email the bl**dy thing to me!!!
I am going nuts checking the email every 5 minutes for the last week.

The only thing that makes it better is that Accord forgot to book their valuation, and can't get one done until 2nd March, so nothing will be done on the mortgage front until then, but it would still be nice to know what is going on, after all, they have had the money for the report since the 4th Feb.

How difficult can it be to type up a report???
