My Mortgage Advisor said that precise are very quick in booking the valuation before they give a full answer.

I have had to give them so much like my contract for work and my P45 from my last job........they also have my P60 and all payslips except October's as this hasn't been issued yet. I held the survey off for the last 2 weeks.

Precise do like to go over everything with a fine tooth comb but it will be worth it just hold in there Mr Potato

So it transpires that the valuation was done yesterday, report received today and just had an email from the broker saying it's gone to offer. Thanks for the advice, hope yours goes as well as ours :)
  • Hi, I have been told by Natwest (after chasing up) that the mortgage offer will be in issued by close of business today. Does anyone know what time this actually is?
The valuation was done over 2 weeks ago so getting quite impatient now...
    Thanks :)
  • We did our full application with the Halifax on the 4th as well and our valuation is booked for Friday, the broker thinks the offer should be out by mid next week :)
  • Paperwork all in to M.A - 01/06/15
sent off to Precise around 22/06/15 as we had to wait for a new SA302 for BF
They came back and said they would offer us 75% and not 85% so we went away spoke to family and agreed we could do 75%, they then came back and said no to 75% and they would offer us 70% which at the time we couldnt find the additional 5% deposit.

    14th October- DIP with Precise
20th October - handed in additional paperwork

    Waited a long timeeeee.......

28th October - paid for Survey
2nd November - Precise asked for BFs Tax calculatons & Tax Overview
4th November - queried this with mort advisor as they had his SA302's was told precise had got confused by their own email?
6th November - Precise request my work contracts
9th November - Precise want my P45 from previous job (left 23/01/15 started new job 26/01/2015)

12th November - Survey carried out this morning

Now we just wait....we started this process in May............this has been a long time coming

See Mine's taken twice as long to get to this point and I'm still waiting to hear my valuation report. Is this down to my broker or something?

    @Moosechan

I've noticed the change as well - they say the new scorecard is more indicative of how lenders would view things. I wouldn't fret too much over the Experian score, it doesn't take into account your employment / income / affordability situation which is crucial in a mortgage application. If you have taken steps to improve your score it means you have improved the underlying data on the record and that will surely help.
  • Valuation passed but still no offer, I have no idea what's going on now.

Im having a nervous break down at the moment and will do until we hear from precise....think i might see my lunch again before the day is out...............

Thank you Chris_Smith, just panicked me a little as Precise are our last option on the mortgage front...if we don't get this its back to renting again...
