    Good luck all.
I exchanged today, completion is Monday 13th oct. That's a 31 day turnaround from offer acceptance to complete. Feels a bit real now.
    Off to make some lists.

oooohhhh an so envious, I can't wait to get into my new flat.

so happy for you Sarabop :)
  • Have a proper timeline now to join you with.

Hoping to buy house we're currently renting from the landlord. Offer made and accepted.

    Mon 29/9 AIP from Natwest
Tues 30/9 hard copy of SA302 needed
Fri 4/10 SA302 arrived, to be handed in Monday, along with solicitors pack.

Hopefully the ball will keep rolling next week!
  • Hoping for good news tomorrow. Weekends are nice in a way as I know nothing can be done so no waiting nervously for news! I'm ready for it to be Monday though as I know we will have an end to our wait in the next few days.
It's hard not to get excited and think about decorating and buying things for the 'new' house but I'm trying desperately to hold myself back!

    Hi all

I don't normally post to these threads but thought I'd just give our story with Nationwide:

21st August 14 DIP with Nationwide (Had a Save to Buy account for 14 months) 5% deposit saved.
10th September 14 offer accepted on property
11th September 14 Full mortgage application in branch & all paperwork submitted (except husband SA302s - waiting to receive from HMRC)
15th September 14 Valuation carried out
    16th September Final SA302s submitted
18th September 14 Mortgage offer issued - mortgage adviser in branch confirmed for full amount & term requested!

7 days from full application to offer - just waiting to receive in post!

Can not fault the service from Nationwide really pleased and would totally recommend using them :T
    Just a little update.

After receiving the offer on 18th September we went on to exchange last Monday 29th September and complete today! Should have the keys available by the time I finish work!

The property is a repossession so now all the hard work starts
