Thanks Merkat and Thelaughingcat. Well got good news finally on monday evening from the broker saying that he had just received a call direct from the under-writer and that everything had been finally cleared and they were proceeding to offer. My broker has stated that it should be done but don't believe anything till you get your copy in the post. Which i am hoping is today:)
Update... It has actually arrived in the post today. Sitting here with my mortgage offer in my hands. Ahhhhhh... That's one battle one, now to continue the war fight!0 -

Our valuation was carried out on Monday after the first purchase falling through due to Japanese knotweed being found in the garden but we found another great house and this is the one that's just had the valuation done on it so we should finally know one way or the other this week !
