Nervous obsessed anxious oh my lord I could go on forever what I am feeling . My application was submitted with documents requested on the 19/3 the website quotes they are looking at the 18/3 we have been waiting since approx 2/3 which isn't bad really it's just the not knowing we are applying for a 88.8% morgage but I am not sure that owning a limited company with my hubby is going to knock us back the accounts show our salary and divs with a steady profit at the end of the year personal account to be honest we don't really use that much and have been In overdraft though no problem getting out of it we both have excellent credit rating no credit cards just 1x loan with santander and 1x car loan I hate not having any control. Has anyone has anything with santander as a company owner.:o
Not sure I follow your post entirely, but you will need SA302s from HMRC if you have not already got them. We are going through the same process now.0 -

Just thought I'd give an update.
01/03 - View house
03/03 - Make offer (1st rejected, 2nd accepted)
05/03 - Instruct solicitors
06/03 - Call Santander and receive AIP over the phone with 'soft' credit check
<Lots of waiting for Santander to arrange telephone interview. Eventually get told it will be 21/03 which is stupid, so in-branch interview arranged for 18/03>
18/03 - In branch mortgage interview submitting 3 months wage slips, 3 months bank statements and proof of ID. Full application sent to underwriters.
20/03 - Solicitors receive contract pack from vendor and instruct searches.
21/03 - Underwriters pass application. Offer subject to valuation!
24/03 - Valuation takes place between 9-11am.
25/03 - Chase Santander who confirm valuation came back at the price we offered, and written offer will be sent within 5 days of valuation report. :T
So, if I hadn't of faffed with the over the phone process things would have gone much quicker! From in-branch application to valuation coming back it's been 5 working days - can't complain really!
Won't get too excited until I see the mortgage offer in writing, but there is a large light at the end of this very unpleasant tunnelDS - 08/15

Hi, thought i'd join in with this!
11/3 mortgage agreement in principle recieved
14/3 offer accepted on house
25/3 full application submitted to RBS for help to buy, all went through fine (full credit check done - do rbs only use equifax?)
Has now been passed to underwriters for 'final check' and been told to expect to hear back within four days.
As we are in scotland they just use the homebuyers report rather than a valuation.... also as we bank with them they never asked for any pay slips etc is this normal?
nervous doesn't even cut it!!0 -
Hi this is our time line so far.....
Off-plan New build HTB EL
Jan went to see a nearly completed new build, fell in love.
13/02- got a DIP from Nationwide
21/02- reserved our plot and paid reservation fee
12/03- received the ATP letter from htb agents.
21/03- Missives signed and returned along with £2000 builders deposit!
21/03- Got provisional get keys day- 2/10/14!
We go for full application with nationwide in April so we have 6 months until build ready.
Does anyone know what happens next? I hear of people 'exchanging' is this what happens on the day you get your keys or does this happen before then with a new build?0 -
Just started with the formal mortgage application process for a house we want, so thought I'd join the thread!
---
31 January- Got a DIP (technically a "mortgage certificate") from Coventry building society
In between we found a new build home that we liked (unexpected and weren't looking for a new build), which eliminated Coventry as an option.
20 March - Sent PIF and reservation form into Help to Buy agent for the Equity Loan Scheme
21 March - Reserved plot and paid reservation fee
22 March - Received ATP letter from Help to Buy agent
25 March - Did a formal mortgage application with Leeds Building Society, which was successful (first computer bit, not to underwriter yet). Broker has payslips, etc.0 -

Personally I would wait longer to put in full application incase the build gets delayed at all.0 -
Hope it goes a bit more smoothly from now on!
28/2/14 completed on my old house (not living in)
8/3/14 looked around two houses - 1 we really liked
10/3/14 contacted broker and got OIP
12/3/14 looked around another house but didn't like it as much
15/3/14 second visit to look more critically, took friend who is civil engineer and checked it over structurally for us
17/3/14 offer made and rejected, 2nd offer accepted
18/3/14 contacted broker to inform and for full application to be made
18/3/14 ID & OIP taken to EA
19/3/14 offers ending at the woolich so computer system not working/funds not available
20/3/14 unable to find partners name
21/3/14 turns out they'd put mrs not ms?! not sure if it will be done today
24/3/14 full application in finally and told we've passed the credit check (I assume that's a good thing) and requesting proof of deposit and 3 months bank statements, email back to check if printed off ones are acceptable
24/3/14 ID, bank statements, contract & £300 etc sent back to solicitor
25/3/14 broker got back, yes printed ones are ok - will do tonight, not requested ID
Anyone have experience of how long to wait with woolich?
