judging by the intermediaries time scale page I estimate they’ll look at mine Tuesday tbh. We’ve had our contract pack through and just concentrating on that side of things xxx

Timeline:
29/06 - Broker DiP
1/07 - Informal offer accepted, solicitor instructed, formal offer made
14/07 - Application finally in, after some issues with first application (higher LTV) being rejected, and primary MA being on leave. However, I'm not convinced my completed application was actually submitted to Clydesdale from my MA until 24th, from something my MA said in an email - incredibly frustrating!
28/07 - Additional documents submitted. Hard credit search performed by Clydesdale
3/08 - Confirmation from MA that additional documents submitted - again, frustrating delay
13/08 - Chased MA today, who phoned Clydesdale and received really trivial question about council tax and water charge, which I've now answered... which I presume puts me back to the bottom of the queue to go to underwriters.

Quick update...
Was told on 17th that we should hear back from Clydesdale by Monday (24th) at the latest... that didn't happen, and was then told a decision would be made by COB yesterday (27th). Heard nothing.

Advisor tried to chase it up this morning, only for phone lines to be down! Feel like I'm driving her up the wall asking for updates (and I do feel bad, as the current delays aren't her fault) - but we've already postponed our entry date once from 28th Aug to 3rd Sept, and I really don't want to have to do it again! Annual leave booked for all of next week and MAN do I need some time off from all this stress

Delighted to say our case was accepted yesterday! 🥳 🎉🥳
32 working days from application to offer (with delays both from my MA and Clydesdale) - feels like it’s been forever!

Due to the English bank holiday and the high case volumes at the moment however we probably won’t get the paperwork until Tuesday - which is hilariously tight for our supposed entry date of Thursday... but honestly at this point I’m so relieved I couldn’t care less about a few more days!

We're going through Santander, what's your timeline so far from application to now?

We applied on the 11th of August, had credit checks done the same day then got our valuation done on the 19th. Still waiting for decision now

Thanks - I can oonly see a soft affordability search on Credit Karma but it's only been 2 days so I guess i need to chill out!!!

Likewise!! We had our survey done last Wednesday so thought we would have heard something by now. And we have the look weekend ahead too.

We applied in the 28/7 had a soft s arch done and that's all that is showing!

Looks like they are looking at documents sent 21/8, so fingers crossed out last document is being processed today! 

Have chased our solicitor about the contract packs, received ours for our sale, along with the first lot of enquiries, but she claims she hasn't received anything from our sellers, but they said it was sent 03/08! Really remembering how much I loath this process.

Hoping to have a mortgage offer and both contract packs by the end of next week.
