  • Just had an email from my broker saying that my application is approved subject to valuation - but he thinks a desktop valuation has been done. This is with Santander, application was submitted on 11th August. So relieved after all the drama with HSBC and my old broker!
Ah that’s great news!! We submitted our application on the same day. We have a valuation done on Wednesday and they actually went to the property. Waiting to hear something Back now !

Hopefully soon! Fingers crossed for you.
  • Got approved by HSBC subject to valuation and underwriters (complicated income). *Nervously waits!*

24th June: AIP received from HSBC

    2nd July: Viewing

28th July: Put in offer, negotiated offer accepted

31st July: Apply for Mortgage and arange advisor meeting

21st August: Meeting with HSBC advisor (what a wait!)

Got my approval text this morning. I assume the valuation was done over the weekend! A good Monday morning!
  • I’m so envious of those being approved right now. After another weekend enduring the worlds noisiest neighbours and aggressive neighbours cat I am at my wits end!

Same here with the noisy neighbours... also throw in some loud as hell motorbikes every hour of the day and someone driving into my parked car, scraping the side, then driving off and I was ready to be out weeks ago!

My partner and I are both FTB applying for a Mortgage with Natwest VIA a brooker, we're using the help to buy equity loan so only required a 75% LTV. Currently playing the waiting game! Here's our time line so far:

31/07 - DIP done by brooker accepted
    05/08 - Full application submitted
12/08 - Payslips requested and sent
14/08 - Valuation requested and booked for 24/08
17/08 - Payslips marked as success on tracker. Proof of gifted deposit and confirmed of our loan payments requested (These were all sent to brooker at the start so they replied right away).

We haven't had our bank statements requested yet! I'm assuming this pay happen after they review the proof of gifted deposit? Only time will tell - although nerve racking!

Received confirmation that our application has been approved subject to valuation - It's a new build property on a housing development which is already in it's 2nd phase of houses, so hoping there's no problems now :)
Housing development just confirmed that the valuation took place today! Any idea how long it'll be until we'll get an update? We're going through the mortgage application with Natwest.

Anyone else waiting on NatWest? They requested our home report (Scotland) and MB sent it in 20/8. Tracker shows “valuation instructed” today 24/8. They asked us for an updated home report from the seller so the valuation was up to date so can’t u set stand why they are requesting another valuation.
  • Another day done and still no news 🙄
