Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Finally managed to get a meaningful update - after the mortgage broker spending an hour on the phone to accord this morning they've confirmed they did value the house on the 18th June and the valuation looks good, so its been escalated back to the underwriter and we should get an offer as soon as it becomes top of the pile. Hoping this afternoon or tomorrow.0

Good news and great to hear , Mines back at the bottom of the pile obviously hoping they asked all the questions they needed to in one go rather than one question at a time which would make things drag !0
-
Fingers crossed for you Lancs. The waiting is painful, you’ve been immensely patient considering!0

But anyway quite fast turnaround for you.0 -
KAP0365 said:@watch3r oh god no 😫 are you buying at a new build too? Did the rest of your application pass quickly? As I’m with Barclays and they do valuation last so Mortgage approved subject to valuation. Generally apart from valuation it was straight forward, and generally all the underwriting etc was done within a week so not bad . Now just waiting for valuation.0

@watch3r you aren’t moving to a site in Essex are you? Our site exactly the same, closed on Tuesday and Wednesday haha. We aren’t HTB, 32% deposit home mover and NatWest apparently don’t instruct valuation until everything else is approved so we are taking the instruction as approved subject to valuation.... it says if valuation comes back satisfactory then an offer will be issued within 48 hours of them receiving the report. Hoping that’s positive!0
