Where we are at with ours (Nationwide)
    Dip - 2nd July - accept
    Full application- 8th July
Requested payslips and ID - 9th July
Valuation booked on 13th July for the 20th
Hard credit check - 19th July
    Valuation-  20th July
Requested further documents (letter confirming I am back from furlough leave) 22nd July .

Been told it will be end of next week  before I hear anything as they are running behind with everything. The waiting is stressful isn't it haha x
They're decent timescales. We're NW also, our timescales so far:
DIP - 13th July (referred as Self Emp).Soft searches done and approved
Full App - 16th July - text emails rcvd saying Application received
MB - Advised on 20th July that has been sent for valuation instruction
Text / Email on 21st July from NW to say valuation has been booked for 18th August.
I have asked MB to see if this can be done sooner as otherwise we'll have to apply elsewhere. Estate Agent also confirmed they haven't booked valuation for this date as would be too far away and also the site access is closed on Tues/Wed so wouldn't be convenient. No hard searches done at all during this.
    NW timescales:
    DIP: 13/7
    App: 16/7
    Valuation: 6/8
    NW offer: 20/8

Newbie here with first post but thought it might help my nerves to share experiences whilst playing the waiting game.
My wife and I are moving house and here is the timeline of events so far:
    • June 26th - AIP from Habito to get an idea for what houses we could look at.
    • Friday 3rd July - Put our house on the market
    • Saturday 4th July - Offer accepted on our house (very quick)
    • Monday 13th July - Third and final offer accepted on our dream house
    • Tuesday 14th July - Application submitted to Barclays and hard searches made on credit files
    • Friday 17th July - Underwriters requested 3 months business bank statements from my wife who is self employed
So we're now waiting for the next update via our online broker and hoping for a valuation date. It's a big mortgage but we have 25% deposit and excellent credit and some credit card debt that will be cleared when we move. Would be great to hear anyone else's experiences with Barclays... hoping we can get to valuation phase asap!!
Just been told that Barclay's are now working to a 4 day turnaround, so not to expect a response to the supplementary documentation we uploaded until Thursday 23rd July (originally) they said it would be reviewed in 1 business day. Makes it slightly easier when you know you're working to extended deadlines, it's the waiting on days you're expecting to hear something that is the killer!
  • Offer accepted and DIP done with HSBC 6/7
Appointment with advisor as 90% and full application submitted. Told doesn't need to go to underwriters 8/7
    Underwritten and valuation instructed 10/7
    Valuation carried out 21/7
    Mortgage offer issued 22/7
Absolutely ecstatic! Can't believe it went so smoothly and now onto the searches! Good luck everyone!

Well done! I submitted payslips a week ago and HSBC say likely next week before they're verified and the application can be passed for underwriting. It's a straightforward case too. Haven't been waiting as long as many others but still frustrating!

Hi guys, hope it’s ok to join in.

Here’s our timeline if it helps....

    FTB 90% LTV HSBC
01/07 - Offer accepted on “The Dream” little house.
02/07 - Broker (& solicitor) advised & full mortgage application submitted
    20/07 - Valuation done
    22/07 - Mortgage offer today!

We’re so happy and quite lucky I think that it went through so fast. I’d had the worst day at work too so it was nice to both receive the text messages in unison while whingeing to my other half about how crap my day’s been!

Hope that everyone else’s goes through just as smoothly as ours. I dare say the next bit will be the frustrating part waiting on searches etc.... I’m ready :)

    Good luck everyone!

Yes funnily enough, we did and I also asked here about it.
it actually showed back on my Experian the day after so it may well be the same for you. No idea why it vanished though I’m sure it’s nothing to be worried about (I was though stupidly!)
