Revived notification valuation is going ahead today. Does anyone know if TSB order valuation before underwriters or will it have been looked at already. The waiting is brutal....
Our MA has been pushing them on a decision or an idea of what date they are working on at the moment but they haven't provided anything.0 -

For those waiting on a Halifax mortgage...
My MA spoke to Halifax this morning and they suggest they’re aiming for a 9-day turnaround at underwriting stage. Fingers crossed to those who are waiting. We should receive our decision this afternoon / tomorrow, based on that timeline.0 -

The MA said they asked for some information on the day that it went to the underwriters which was provided immediately and since then there's been no updates, we're starting to be pushed by the seller to close so our MA is trying to put some pressure on but the lack of information coming from TSB is frustrating.0 -
Hi everyone - this is my first post on the forum. We're FTBs and I am wondering if anyone's recently applied for a mortgage with West Brom and if they could share their experience? We got an AIP from them on Wednesday last week after having our offer accepted on a property that's only 10 months old (sellers moving due to medical conditions). We're submitting our full application today via our MA.I have 2 key worries:- we're going with a 15% deposit however we won't have saved the full amount until the end of August (6 weeks from now) - we have demonstrated our ability to save a certain sum/month for the past 10 months so we are fully confident we'll have more than the full deposit then, but is this likely to cause issues? We've provided evidence of the deposit we have now and our saving pattern.- the age of the property - looking at the media and the different lenders' criteria, with some refusing to lend against properties less than 24 months old, I am pretty worried. What do you think? Grateful for any thoughts or advice! Thank you!0

To those waiting on TSB, are you having delays due to complexities?
Person buying from us is using TSB just wondering if she’ll have similar issues. She’s not self employed and has low LTV.0 -

Person buying from us is using TSB just wondering if she’ll have similar issues. She’s not self employed and has low LTV.TSB application here too, straightforward case, 2 x DWP workers not furloughed and with 15% deposit. Lender required a damp and timber report which has come back clear today and they have now agreed the full valuation. Broker has advised we’re just awaiting the mortgage offer, there’s no indication that it needs to go to an underwriter so will keep you updated.1
