2 years later and im back on here!
We have sold our current house this week and reserved a new build.

On Wednesday our MB advised we had an accepted decision from HSBC (valiation was apparently the Friday before - 03/07 and satisfactory - woohoo!). Yesterday they said HSBC were doing some 'final checks' and issuing our offer.
Generally how long is it from acceptance to receiving the offer? I've seen a number of timelines where the offers have come through the same day (via e-mail/text?) but not sure if that's usually standard with HSBC 🤔1

            Hi Everyone (good luck everyone!)
Strange one, is it common to get conflicting information?
I spoke to Halifax yesterday who advised the offer is on it's way to my broker. I spoke to the broker today who said it's still with the underwriters ... I'm getting so stressed! 0 I'm getting so stressed! 0

Currently waiting on tsb right now. All information submitted, additional information submitted again on friday last week. Broker says tracker states info recieved but not yet processed as of yesterday. (6 days later) sent know what's happening with the valuation.
Literally cannot imagine going through another weekend of waiting.

I'm currently waiting for a valuation date, application went in with Halifax a month ago. I'm getting used to these weekends waits now. One silver lining is that it does make the weekends feel longer!Enerzeal said:Currently waiting on tsb right now. We're waiting on TSB at the moment, our MA told us on 1st July that the valuation was done and we were just waiting on approval from TSB, however, on 6th July that became that we're waiting on the underwriters.Enerzeal said:Currently waiting on tsb right now. We're still within their 12-14 day turnaround period at the moment, so not sure if that's from 1st July or 6th July but the waiting is painful..though we've been told that the decisions can come in through the weekend too.0

Anyone still waiting on Santander? Application submitted on 26th June, underwriters asked for additional payslips on 7th July, the wait is agonising 😬0

As we went direct, we called up to check when valuation will be booked. This was the day after we received text 'mortgage approved subject to valuation'. That's when we found out that valuation had already taken place and they issued our final offer on the spot. So perhaps contact HSBC directly to chase? In case your MB isn't chasing them frequent enough?xx_mstilda_xx said:On Wednesday our MB advised we had an accepted decision from HSBC (valiation was apparently the Friday before - 03/07 and satisfactory - woohoo!).
