Anyone applied with Santander recently?
im with Santander and our valuation is taking place tomorrow, the site manager confirmed this when it was booked (my MA then confirmed this about a day later)
I was told today that my application has been passed to the mortgage centre and all good subject to valuation. I’m still super nervous but could hear good or bad news anytime between tomorrow and a couple of weeks (apparently the time lines after valuation vary).0 -

DIP received and application submitted on 30/06/20
Valuation instructed on 01/07/20
Valuation expected on 09/07/20 which is tomorrow EEEK
I tracked the above on the tracker on their website and my broker said it's currently with an underwriter being assessed which I don't think is true because Skipton carry out valuations before underwriting and the valuation is still to be done (from what I have heard) anyway I'm not really bothered about that as long as it we get our mortgage offer! Anyway I check Skipton's turnaround times daily (I know I have issues!) haha but all I can see it their offer times being extended - it's on 8 days at the moment - so I'm guessing another 2 weeeeks!I'm going to have no hair by the end of this!Anyone else had experience with Skipton and tired of this waiting game?
Online tracker hasn't updated in days, it went to the underwriters before valuation.
I have been phoning daily, I have sorted alot out over the phone. My broker is still saying they havnt processed my valuation but I spoke to skipton on Monday and they have. Looks like they are slow to update anything or anyone.
I will be ringing tomorrow for more updates, just on the off chance I can find out something instead of waiting for letters/emailsMy broker emailed saying the valuation hasn't happened yet - on the phone to Skipton and they've said a desktop valuation was done yesterday so I don't think they've had time to provide the update to my brokerI guess I'm going to have to keep calling them for updates.
when did you submit your application?0 -

sorry, I didn’t read your original post properly. How annoying they simply didn’t turn up after waiting a month. My valuation was booked 12 days ago so hopefully you don’t have to wait as long as a month this time.Hopefully they put you as an urgent case and get it booked in this week! I can see the mortgage process getting slower after today’s announcement, my MA said this could delay the time for them to review the valuation.1 -
Has anyone heard of two valuations being instructed? Nationwide texted me saying my valuation was booked in for today and I confirmed with the developers that the valuation took place (she said she sent the documents across so I assume it was a desktop valuation) then today I’ve received another text from nationwide saying the valuation is booked for tomorrow. Why would this be?0

Does anyone know how long I should expect conveyancing to take on a new build property (that’s already built and completed). When I googled it, it said 8-12 weeks, is it really that long?0

Can I join? I am 3 days into the waiting and not sure I can cope with this much longer! I am normally quite paitient and what-will-be-will-be but it's taken so many viewings to get a buyer and I am so invested in the next house (silly I know but I can't help it!). Really nervous as, although AIP went straight through with Halifax, we were declined by Virgin first of all. I am carrying some debt (but well within affordability) and have around 6 small late payments in the last 2 years - really frustrating and just pure bad admin on my part. Also had a hard search for car finance a few weeks ago but I was about to take the house off the market!! We have a 40% deposit so am just crossing everything and hoping for the best. Here is my not very long timeline...
06/07 - AIP with Halifax
