There is no room for confusion over "forwarding" in their latest ts + cs.
They should make a donation to charity for all the help they are given drawing up their conditions from comments posted in this thread.0 -
My, my; haven’t you all been busy here while I was abroad!
You’ve added 21 pages in a month! (And that’s not counting all those ones I saw from afar get deleted…)
Anyway, could some kind soul tell me on what date The Mobile Outlet changed the post-August 2007 Terms & Conditions to extend the cashback claim period from 30 days to 60 days?
And has anybody who is bound by these post-August Terms & Conditions yet worked out what The Mobile Outlet means by “a bill showing that you have been connected for a minimum of 120 days”.
Only your very first bill (covering 62 days at most) will show the date upon which you were first connected.
I have never yet seen a bill from any network that, in itself, shows that you have been connected for 120 days.
So, what are you proposing to send?
The time to thrash this out is NOW - not after your claims have been rejected,

Surely no-one is bound by post August 2007 conditions.
No-one would patronise them after reading this thread. Would they?0 -

Just an update on my first claim at 4 months...Please can you all witness I am posting my claim via royal mail special delivery today. My fourth bill is dated 20th september so am sending it in next day delivery only 5 days into my 21 allowed days. Have just videotaped myself putting each of the four original and complete bills withfull despatch note in a envelope with royal mail sticker marker next day by 1pm and have clearly focused on all the bill dates and page numbers to show that they are complete and on the sn number of the royal mail sticker. have videtaped the date on my laptop and on sky tv for proof of date i am sealing envelope. This should be foolproof..but lets just see. ...oh have also put in a cover letter documenting contents and countersigned by work colleague to verify contents. Fingers crossed....please dont go bust before my cashback!0

I can't witness anything, but I hope that bill date is a typo!Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

If your fourth bill is dated 20 September and you're sending in your claim on 25 October, I don't think you need to get emboiled in the currently raging "what does within 21 days mean?" debate.0 -

FYI....
For my first cashback:
Date of last invoice 3rd September 2007
Paperwork delivered on 12th September 2007 ie. well within the 21 days.
Cashback payment due 10th October 2007
They then sent me 2 E-mails:
* 8th October 3pm - saying they had received paperwork and would reply by E-mail or post within 28 days.
* 8th October 3.01pm - stating that my submission had been accepted, but payments had been delayed by 14 days.
I waited until 24th October (14 days beyond the 28 day deadline for payment) and have received nothing.
Of course if 'we' were late even by a single day, they would say that 'we' had forfeited ALL cashback payments.
Hence, today (25th October) I have sumbitted a court claim against them for the FULL cashback of £480 - quoting a fundamental breach of contract by them. I had given them an additional 14 days (which I did not 'have' to give them) and yet they still haven't paid up.
Unfortunately the claim is restricted to 1080 characters over 24 lines so I couldn't give full details. Of course, if it DOES go to court, I can provide evidence that I contacted them on at least three occasions, warning them of impending court action. Of course, phone calls were never answered, and all E-mails are simply replied with their 'Automatic Mailbox Response' stating that due to a 'technical issue' response will take 1-3 days. And of course, they never reply after that anyway.
I can't see that they have any defence, since I even have an E-mail from them stating that my submission had been accepted! However, I wonder what it would be like to actually take them to court.
Has anybody actually gone as far as the court case?
Have they, or a representative/solicitor appeared?
Cheers,

Have you omitted to mark down the LBA in your diary? (If not, and you haven't sent one, then cancel your MCOL immediately, and start again)0
