I am totally amazed that on the ASDA application form there is NO WHERE to put job details other then the name of the company and the job title
No where on it at all do they allow for you to add what you did at each job and achievements etc.
What a load of crap that is eh. Why do they have such a stupid online application form
This role is for one in the office at one of their large superstores so I don't get why its so basic
rant over

Fill it in if you want the job - otherwise don't. Its not for you to decide whether this is right or wrong. The chance to tell all will be at the interview stage if you get that far.Wins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0

Could you provide a link to this form?0

How do you get an interview IF they know NOTHING about you!

I have filled in many of these in my job search. Took me over an hour each on each occasion. I had to do online English, Maths (despite having strong GCSE & A Level grades) and scenario tests after a ridiculously long application form.
Same experience for Tesco. Probably at least 6 hours of my life that I'm not getting back has been spent on supermarket application forms. I never even got an automated "you have not been successful" email.
I decided not to bother with them in future and apply for jobs with other firms and take temporary jobs for the time being.0 -

This is correct, you have a multiple choice section. Then a section to read and answer questions based on what you have read.Wins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0 -

I am guessing what I put was rejected if there was meant to be a test at the end as the page just came up 'close page'We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
