Fantastic!! staff were so helpful and we got 4 flights from Newcastle- Miami in January for £1280.80, thats £320.20 each, which is a huge saving. We booked our seats and were also able to use our BA executive clubcards to gain partner points on these flights.

    Helpful, but not very honest.

    BA NCL-LHR YES (250 miles)
AA LHR-MIA NO miles, NO points

All AA Transatlantic flights DO NOT qualify for BA miles or points, only a connection on a domestic AA flight will qualify for 25% mileage in economy/coach. ie Chicago(ORD)-Miami(MIA)
  • Managed to book flights for Trinidad Carnival for 426, which was essentially half price of anywhere else (could have gone Charter to Tobago and traferred across for a bit more).

It's a pain you don't get BA miles on these trans atlantic, I have a BA card which I primarily use and an AA one which I only used for the Citibank card miles. I've asked if I can get BA miles for Miami to Trinidad and AA for London to Miami and everyone says it fine in principle but doesn't know how to do it!
  • Amazing deal.

Just booked London to LAX 27th Dec to 2nd Jan

    286 pounds!
  • Does anyone know whether both flights in a return booking have to be within the dates specified, or can it just be one of the legs....??

It can be just one leg if required or like I have booked, out to one place and back from another as we are doing a road trip in between.

  • Tried to book london - los angeles online price £317 plus £81.20 taxes. = half price offer =£158.50+£81.20 = £239.70 I phoned AA was told to go ahead and hold the booking online and then re ring them only to be told the half price of £ 158.50 was also made up of taxes of £45.50. My half price ticket allowance was only £113 and the rest was taxes of £170.10 making cost = £285.10
Argued the point for 20 mins to no avail then rang mastercard were not interested so rang my issuing bank who had no idea of offer.,please help
  • I think aside from the fact that I had to pay a bit more than what I had calculated from the AA's online prices, this is still a good deal.

I booked return flights MAN to JFK 27 Dec - 6 Jan and paid £267. It's cheaper than any other airlines have to offer in that time of year which is around £350 and above.

Bear in mind that this offer is valid if you plan an itinerary with AA flights only, not with its partner ie BA.

When I first called AA number, my itinerary was MAN to JFK via Heathrow, with a flight from MAN to LHR with BA. The person who took my call said that it's okay as long as my return flight will be on AA only. I decided to have another look at the flights available online so I asked him to hold my itinerary and called again the next day to confirm. Turns out that my initial itinerary wasn't valid because it has a flight with BA in it. The other person apologised for the misunderstanding they've caused and were very kind finding me a better alternative. It was the longest call I had to make to book a flight (an hour and 10 minutes! thanks for the 0207 number!!!), but it was worth it!

It's the same thing for me. I booked the flights almost a month ago but they haven't charged my credit card yet. When I checked the itinerary under my name & reservation code on AA website, it says that the status is 'purchased'... I could use that as a confirmation, yes?
  • The lady told me on the phone that payment wouldn't be taken for a while (didn't say when), although when it is taken then I would be e-mailled an e-ticket....

    Seems good -
London - Trinidad (Port of Spain) - £398.00. Long stay.

By far the cheapest I've found.
