I can't see an immediate answer to these questions on the website so I guess the best thing to do is ring and ask. Good luck on getting bargain travel!Domestic Violence and Abuse 24hr freephone helpline for FEMALE TARGETS - 0808 2000 247.

I just got a quote for £263 return to JFK Wed-Sun. The flight was £220, taxes £153. The same flight online - the taxes are only £81.
Anyone have the same random experience? Why are the taxes a lot higher?0 -
There is no way that 'taxes' can come to £155, being based upon UK & US departure taxes (£40 & $20? respectively), and the unlikely possibility of a US state tax. Presumably, like most other airlines the words are actually something like 'taxes + fees', and it is not uncommon for these to vary dependent upon the promotion. Unfortunately it is not only AA that play tricks with these, a comparison of BA flights booked direct and booked via AirMiles might be illuminating.0

I took a look on saynoto0870 for an alternative to the AA 0845 number - if sayno is up to date the geographical number for this mastercard deal is 0207 3650777.
Now, just have to work my own dates out and see if the taxes and fees don't bang it back up again.

PS: I rang AA today on the 0207 3650777 number which is the correct alternative to 0845. Newcastle to Miami returning from Fort Myers to Newcastle over the Christmas period came in at a brilliant £335 including taxes. Excellent!0 -
