Driving with Headlights on
Options
Driving around this afternnoon I saw a lot of people driving with headlights full on - it is bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky ie no storms etc.
Not motorways just ordinary A, B and country roads.
I tried to tell a couple of people but they just got very annoyed!
Is this a new form of lets try and be even more stupid than they are normally or a new craze?

I take they were dipped headlights? Many drivers go about with dipped headlights up here and its never bother me - I sometimes even join them.0

OH has to do regular safety driving courses. He is taught/told to use headlights at all times even in sunshine.
I personally feel daft driving with lights on in the sun but I can understand the theory even if I don't do it myself.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Sorry Aardvark - but this is normal.
Since the introduction of DRLs more and more folks without DRLs have been using their dipped beams in order not to be 'overlooked'. You certainly noticed them anyway.
Just ignore it as it's going to be more and more common in the coming months - trucks, buses and vans too.0 -
