    Congratulations mummyyof5!

Littlies only just in bed thanks to their earlier nap. DD still struggling toilet-wise so I've upped her dose :( want to get her sorted over the weekend. DS away to grandparents tomorrow lunchtime so I can focus just on her for a couple of days.

Never did get to her cupboard, bit I could do mine tonight and hers tomorrow.

Had text from friend about a meet up. I think I've mentioned here before she never invites us to hers? Well, she text yesterday did we want to go to the park (!) and I said I was free today but not tomorrow or the weekend. So she said how about next week. I said we can do Thu morning, so she text back "great, we'll be round at yours at 10, then!" might have to say something. That said, I'm not sure I want to go to hers she has two dogs and they are quite smelly :o don't get me wrong I love dogs, but you get tell they have them before you even hear or see them, IYSWIM :p

Anyway, kitchen done after tea, my bed remade and wet stuff in wash ready for morning, I washed my towels and bath mat earlier, which are dried and straight back in the bathroom. Will do kids beds in the morning.

    Work looking good, ionafan!

Piggers, my brother had a friend who'd never eaten burgers until he came to our house, and one of DD's friends had pie at our house last year for the first time at the age of 23. (We only eat junk here!)

    Flying wise:

    Bins emptied
    Bath/shower/screen clean
    Some cobwebs gone
    Garden watered

Burgers cooked and eaten - see, told you....
Spend less now, work less later.

Hid inside from the sun for much of today. Have done naff all though :o. I will plant my new strawberry plants tomorrow. A lovely friend needed to thin hers so has donated several plants to me :). Do need to clean out the gibble in the lounge tomorrow. Also need to check on all of the camping stuff tomorrow too as we will have a fairly late evening on Thursday and Friday night next week getting the car packed up ready for our holibobs.
We're camping for a whole week in Weymouth which will be awesome if the weather remains like this :D.

Ready to turn in for the night. Had a couple of early starts. Came up for a shower an hour ago only to find littlest moo had sneaked into my bed :D so I took the opportunity to sort her wardrobe. 2 drawers, a rail and an underbed box later, we are straight, she has so much stuff! And nothing matches! Second hand Rosie ;)

Also had my shower, tried on some swimmies to decide which to pack (tankinis please! Still lots of wobbly bits!) and here I am. Bushed!

So I'll say g'night and see you in the morning (hopefully not so early)

Evening all, been up the put with the kids - classy! Actually it was loads of the parents from DS3's year who took all the kids up there after the leavers assembly. They ran around in the park garden for hours whilst we chatted, pub must have wondered what the invasion was.

Don't think I ever got to the flying today. Oh well I'll put the list up for tomorrow in case anybody else is following it.

    Ugh...s'warm

    anyway.

had a word with mum about criticising DD. Took DD up there in dress and sandals t'other day...'how pretty you look (fine) BUT (here we go) what about nail varnish on your toenails?

Mum just cannot see it. DD interprets all this as little digs and mum cannot see that they are unnecessary so have DD wondering why Grandma cannot just be nice; now my eldest niece is pierced (body) and mum moans about that - DD hasn't even got her ears pierced !!!!!! you cannot win. I can see more and more of her mother in my mother - and her mother was very very critical (we loved her and appreciated her but she was bl00dy hard work) and I realise I am not looking forward to the future in this respect. I'm already keeping things from her with regards to my 'relaxed' attitude re DS's GF being here.

Anyway - picked a whole punnet of strawberries (nyom) (might root runners and chuck out 'old' plants) and I have blackcurrants simmering for jam - batch 2. Bumper harvest!

    Wow those claws look sharp!

We are up and "playing" already :( I'm so tired. They are having breakfast picnic under DS bed. I've got a cuppa and a crumpet.

WM going ready to hang out in a bit. Need to pack DS bag for his trip to Thomas Land! DD and I might get a bit of rest this weekend. FIL is collecting DS after golf, so I'll take her shopping this aft. I want some polo shirts for DS, some thank you gifts for IL's, a visit to M&S and DD to Claire's for some pretty bits and bobs.

But this morning, shower and hair wash, then tackle my wardrobe!
