    Morning

I thought I was a busy bee yesterday, but didn't really get a lot accomplished.

    DD4 nappies all pegged out
fielded call from home insurance - i need to get another estimate done
DS been decluttered of his long-ish hair (smart, but now makes him look baby-ish IMHO)
DS been back to Specs@vers to get a replacement pair of glasses ordered
Been into my 99pee store to get more cleaning stuff.....very chuffed to find some refill cans that fit my big @irwick battery operated automated freshener (at a saving of over £2.50 a can it would be rude not to:money:) and some F!n!sh Qu@ntum carousel refills 24 washes for 99p (just need to go to one of the big shops to buy a proper pack with the actual carousel in in now)

Been suffering from a nasty migraine that won't shift, and I fear it is going to be one of the Up-Chuck variety, so don't know whether to go outside so I can hose away the evidence or carry a bucket around with me all day

I am signing off now, as the light from puter isn't helping

    see you later

Morning all. Just the dailies for me this morning and a short walk with the dogs as SickDog just got too hot. Paid stuff now which will be busier than yesterday. I think everyone sat out in the sun yesterday, they certainly didn't send me anything to do!

    Have a great day everyone.

Get thee sen some buccastem from the chemist.. that stops you upchucking in minutes usually! You can get it on prescription too.. not sure if you can get it on the minor ailments.

From a family of migraine sufferers it is the only thing that does work consistently.

Many Happy Returns of Yesterday to mrs-mp. Sorry I didn't post yesterday - too hot in the day and too busy in the evening clearing up the mess of plaster that had been taken off the walls in the downstairs bedroom.

Today we have 6 workmen here: 1 builder, 1 plasterer and 4 double glazing fitters - all great blokes and good workers. The kettle is on almost permanently.

The ventilation in the old kitchen has doubled as the hole for the new front door is being knocked through. The new kitchen will get its new bigger window tomorrow :)

And at last we have something being put back on the walls, as the plasterer begins to board the ensuite and hallway :D

There is dust everywhere. Flying is impossible. I have paperwork to do but can't concentrate with all that's going on around me.

DH is stressed out, not only by the building work but also because he's been referred to the hospital for a biopsy and the appointment has already come through for Tuesday. He has shut himself in the garage.

Hope you get it sorted MMM - how long have you got to go?

ionanfan - hugs and flylady posivibes coming your way. Men often react like that don't they? Hope the biopsy goes well....

I was thinking of you yesterday as I wandered round Railfest at the NRM! The sight of the only 6 remaining A4 locos together in the main hall was amazing!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
