    Afternoon all

Sorry to read about Mary, LW :(

I've done the bedrooms today, early. Two lines of washing were dry before 11 am and all folded and put away. I even ironed two items and I never iron. That's the trouble with some summer stuff.

Too hot for me, I know I shouldn't complain and the sun is lovely but it's just too hot in our garden. I sat out there for an hour this morning and read the paper and did some knitting but I had to come in then. Hopefully this evening it will be more comfortable.

So, I'm catching up on here and knitting at the same time. But I have done all my housework just by starting early. Tomorrow DD2 and I are going to see Monsters Inc. Taking our cardigans because the cinema is often too well conditioned:rotfl:

Girls collected.. 2 more days of school runs.. then the baby can arrive whenever it likes!

OH delegated to peeling spudatoes and dinner should be a 2 minute prep for me then :D

OH is off to Dogtanian class later.. DS1 usually goes with him but isn't going tonight but given the person he would have skipped class to visit has deceased I am so much more comfortable with the situation.

I've a cuppa to slurp before doing food so.. I shall declutter than then make a start on dinner and kitchen finding!

    Hi all

Paid stuff done for the week, no idea where my car is and I'm so tired I can't move. Can I leave the kiddies at nursery overnight? ;)

I will go get them in a bit. All I've done is open all the windows and put my lunchbox in the DW. Need to ring optician, just got an eye test reminder for DH

I've photocopied my passports, printed my parking voucher and travel insurance schedule. Got some cash - which must last the rest of the month at least

Hoping for a quiet couple of days now. Although I will need to collect my car. Which will wan paying for (see point above, doh!)

Just back from a couple of hours at the Railway Museum with DH and DD1 - it was the last day of Rail Fest and I was determined we were going.

I really enjoyed it - now I want a quiet sit and a couple of glasses of water.....

All applicable jobs on lists for the week are done and I've dusted all the pictures in the house. Today was a very quiet paid stuff day. It won't last....

    Evening all

DS2 kindly sorted out dinner for himself and DS3 whilst I was at Gov training. I shall stuff something in the AGA for me next.

Need to get the washing in and do a bit of flying.

Polly what are you knitting? I think I'll get my needles out and start something for the very long journey to France, just not sure what, my skills are very basic
