    Just rememberd this

We took the whole Key Stage for a country walk today (a tradition) and, on the way back two of the Y6 girls, obviously flagging, suggested we steal a car and drive back to school. I pointed out that my job skills didn't include breaking into cars and stealing them. One girl persisted and asked if I knew anyone who COULD break into a car - my son, perhaps?

    LOL

The parent accompanying us was MOST amused by this suggestion!

    Evening all

Exhausted from the cricket but a great time was had by all. I have lots of tupperware to clean but that is waiting until tomorrow.

DS has just reminded me he needs a pink T shirt for tomorrow for play dress rehersal - totally forgot so will have to nip to the shops tomorrow.

I'll do the list tomorrow - kitchen if you want to start early.

  • Evening flyladies and flygents - just had a quick skim of Fred

Dusty big hugs, and a pile of big sticks to chase the BD's away for you OH and his sister

FBO - glad that you got your "hope for the best" and the prepare for the worst never came to fruition, and you are back with us all.

DD2 is still not smoking....very chuffed with her.....DD1 survived flying to Dublin although she was all various shades of green on take off and landing, yet can ride all day at @lton T0wers without batting an eyelid

I am nursing a severe sleep deficit, coupled now with smug cat eyes (they appear to be tiny slits on my face courtesy of hayfever) and I have both DD3 and DS conked out on my bed so it is roasting like an oven

May review this weeks list and see what I can cross off before I get to the end of the week with nothing done.

Then I might lay a damp towel on the floor and sleep there for the night:rotfl:

My boys have not had a bedroom door in about 5 or 6 years. When they can tidy their room and keep it tidy for a month I shall consider getting them one..

    I've got another square knitted.. I think I have 62 now.. :D

Off to bed seeing as I couldn't wake up this morning, my feet are so swollen they hurt.. a lot... and I am far too hot and my room is much cooler than in here.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. The important thing now is I make the best of the chance I have been given to turn things around.

Started this morning with a blitz of the living/dining room (couldn't see it for paper) At least it is now all in neat piles and I can see both the dining and coffee tables.

Need to do some lists - haven't been looking past yesterday for 3 weeks, so a lot is needed. Big shop tonight as I'd filled freezer for Iain in preparation, but no fresh stuff and it's too hot for a lot of the casseroles etc I'd prepared. Also, Mother is possibly coming up on Friday and he has suggested we have her round for dinner. (Normally takes me a week of cleaning to prepare for a parental visit)

Oh well. Off to treatment for the day. You'll probably be hearing from me regularly - one of the things the therapists keep saying is I am too isolated. I need to get out and meet people, but also communicate via e-mail etc (I hate telephones). Today starts the rest of my life:T

He asked for the door for a birthday present - we duly coughed up! If his box room gets messy I can shut the door now.....
