Quick post to send hugs and prayers to Dusty and all the family xx

    Also to FBO xx

And thoughts for LW and Mary xx

Lovely day at the seaside with my class today involving candy floss, the hovercraft, a tank, a castle, a lighthouse, the Common, a lake, a picnic and a playground :D

Nearly packed for Year 6 camp - decided on taking a sheet to sleep under rather than a sleeping bag!!

Not sure when I'll get a chance to log on again - depends on when / if the little darlings go to sleep!

Hope the rest of the week goes well xx

So I think they are more mad than me. They will replace my parasol, and make the boys pay for it. So all sorted.
Good. The little wotnots need to understand that actions have consequences.

Sassy's been for her 2nd walk since arriving; she's had cruciate ligament surgery (April) so is on 10-15 min walks, on the lead only, for the time being. She really is so quiet and laid-back, we could easily not realise she's there!:o

FBO good to see you, mate; glad the outcome was as good as you could have hoped for.;)

Off to light Mary's candle now. No doubt I shall shed a few tears, too.:o

I may even manage a spot of Flying tomorrow (ok, don't anyone hold their breath on that).:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • OK I managed to get myself going enough to cook pasta for tomorrow, have half loaded the washing machine....must collect washing before I go to bed. Ebaying unlikely to happen - I got as far as taking photos last night. At this rate they might be on ebay by next month!

Won't be time for much flying tomorrow as I'm not home really at all. Will try and persuade OH to do some chores.....wish me luck!

Does someone fancy making me a cuppa? My feet are like balloons and hurt to walk on.

I have rearranged a chunk of bedroom.. chest of drawers moved, basket set up, box of toiletries sorted, Christmas stash away, school uniform for September organised, Bag of clothes stashed in a drawer or 3, Squeak and Dots clothes put away, cots remade, few bits thrown in ebay box, very large bag filled with recycling!

Best go fold washing off the line and then I can continue with my knitting!

(((hugs))) to LW on Mary's sad passing.

Dusty sorry for your loss x

LW sorry to hear about Mary x

    DS2 in bed
OH & DS1 are bonding at the football (hopefully)

I'm finally putting my feet up waiting for Miss Muddy Paws to return.

I gave in today and allowed DS1 to have his ear pierced. I had discovered he was old enough to go without my permission but thought it better to take him.

Kitchen has been put to bed.

    Here you go m'dear :D

LW sorry to hear about Mary :(

All settled in for the night. MIL is staying, so an early start for me and she will get the kiddies to nursery. She's also asked where the ironing pile is :A its not huge and I've said not to bother if its hot.

Hopefully get my car back tomorrow, pre-mot showed nothing but its had oil and filter change, so mot should have passed this aft, and FIL will collect tomorrow.

At least then I won't have to remember to put the handbrake on

    Hi all

dusty sorry to hear you're news, love & strength to you and your family.
    LW hugs to you
FBO hugs to you too and pleased to hear it was the best outcome.
bossy your neighbours sound like nice people (the parents not the son, although he'll learn) glad they are doing the right thing by you.

Flying has been minimal here, I've not even deployed hetty which is unheard of for me.

I have watered the garden, been to Mr T's for birthday cards. Went to bee & que for more plants. However they were more expensive and limited than the lovely independent garden centre I normally visit so I'll go back there on Saturday.

    Deco x
