PS. What is eat a frog???

my interpretation is that its doing a job you keep putting off, jobs dont go anywhere of their own accord they just lurk and become more annoying till they are done so a frog is one of those sorts of jobs. the kind you dont enjoy but you feel better once they are over and done with.

PollyBear i post rubbish and drivel all the time it hasnt stopped me posting yet and everyone is polite enough to let those of us who do get away with it, you post away girl.

FFP, well done for handing those tabs in:T you have saved someone from probably a very serious incident if they were taken

been round mils and done 2 hours of weeding and filled her bird baths. i filled 4 big bags of green rubbish.

DH has been home for food and returned to work.
DS2 on park, was playing rounders but the bats back in the hall so guessing it was too hot, but at least hes still out there. advantage of living next to the park i can keep tabs on him.

going to wash up then do something off the lists.

I'm sorry about your FIL, Dusty, I hope the kids take it ok and DH doesn't have a tough time over it X

Back from paid stuff, although I'll need to log on later :( never mind. Driving a different car has been very odd, mine has automatic handbrake so I keep trying to set off without letting the lever down :o

Will go get DD soon, I just popped into the pharmacy and they gave me some lactulose and said start her on 5ml twice a day and take it from there. DS is at last swim lesson of the term.

I feel really dizzy this afternoon - I have eaten today and been drinking but I feel very "floaty" in my head :( hope it goes away its most uncomfortable.

So I'm just going to sit where it's cool for a bit, and will tend to housework later...

I've spent the afternoon ironing and juggling washing on the line, but I'm quitting for the night. I'm too hot and its only DD's stuff and some bits for the house so they can wait until the morning. I've even caught up on the washing except for cleaning cloths but I'll put them on tomorrow when I've used the last couple. ;)

I'm about to go off for a cooling bath then I'll give the bathroom a quick clean. Not sure what to make for tea...something with eggs would probably be a good idea since we have a few that need using up.

Bathroom, Hall, Stairs and Study/PC Area
    Clean bath/shower/sink and toilet
    Those frightening kids rooms
    Re-make bed
    Living Room and Entance/Porch
    front door

Time to put the ironing away while my bath runs.

Only just got online - no idea where today's gone.

Dusty (((HUGS))) - I'm lousy with finding right words, so won't try.

Pollybear you can't possibly post any worse drivel than I do - and that's after I delete the really really drivelly stuff!:D (Tbh, I still sometimes go to post then lose my nerve).

Sassy the Labradoodle has arrived; she's absolutely adorable. Very gentle nature, quiet, well-behaved.:o

I had some extremely sad news earlier though; dear, sweet little Mary has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.:( I'll be lighting a candle for her once Mr LW gets home from work.

I rarely let the fact that I have typed rubbish stop me from posting

    Nor do I!

Sorry to hear your sad news Dusty - sympathies to you all and it looks like your shoulders will need to be broad.

Anyone heard from Cat Smith - I believe today was an important day for her.

Hugely busy at work - all kids out on annual hike/picnic - ddn't even bother with my pre work shower. Then helping colleagues prep for their new classes.

It appears I will be teaching lots of French and RE - mon dieu! in Septembre...

    Done some washing...
