Thanks so much for your good wishes it means a lot.

Not spoken to DH yet, his sister will be finding it awfully difficult. I worry about black dogs for them now; DH was really not good when his mother passed away for a very long time and his sis is on permanent ADs already.
I've told DS2 (my most stable child), I'll tell DS3 after school before cricket.

For now I'm cooking 200 mini sausage rolls and have 48 mini quiches to construct and cook.

Dusty Hugs to you and yours xxxxx

I'm in the middle of vacuuming and mopping the livingroom. I had trodden in pencil lead and dried on blue-tak on the floor all hidden by the rug otherwise they'd have been dealt with sooner  I'm so glad I have laminate and not carpet downstairs.

I've run out of washing line space as I have loads of bedding on the line. That'll teach me not to go to bed with my hair damp when its not long been coloured :o My white bedding is covered in orange patches but it looks like its come out. :)

Right, off to attack this blooming mark again.

DH struggled for a good while after his dad died. He's always verged on depression (won't see the GP about it)- and that first year he was very hard to live with. My thoughts are with you!

I'm so sorry Dusty. Love to you and your family.

Downstairs windows polished. Floor swept and mopped. Kids taken to school. DS1 evicted from bed after 6 attempts to get him up. I feel tired already.

Playing hunt the wedding invitation - can't find it anywhere.

my DH is an only child and has always popped in on his way home form work to see his parents (they only live in next street) when his dad died two years ago he found it really hard, he still rarely talks about him as he gets upset. as a result kids wont talk about GP to dad incase he gets upset which to me is worse people need talking about to stay in your memories,
everyone deals with things differently dusty my thoughts are with you as i know you will be the rock that holds them together and carries them through this.

Dusty, my thought to you and your family. xx

Bad flylady reporting in, where has this week so far gone, I don't seem to have stopped, nor have I done much flying either, except washing, dried on the line, OH got off line, folded and put away for me, seem to have spent all my time recently at work, to day is a day off, but manager has already been on the phone asking if I would go in, and have Thursday off instead, so I said yes, only to have her call back about 15 mins later, to say she had sorted the shift out.

    So this afternoon
    Hoovering

Then OH and I are having a picnic in the garden for the afternoon, as it seems he has a half day, so this willbe our 1st day well half day off together for 25 days, we seem to be ships passing each other atm!

I did the ironing at 7am this morning before it got too hot!

    Have a good day xx

Lunch time update thats going to look like I've done nothing but between shifting some furniture, and waiting for the floor to dry so I can move stuff back, its taken me nearly 3 hours to do the whole of the livingroom & kitchen (although I've mopped the kitchen twice!)

Bathroom, Hall, Stairs and Study/PC Area
Wash and replace towels/flannels/bath mats with clean ones
    Clean bath/shower/sink and toilet
    Master bedroom and Landing
    HHI

    Those frightening kids rooms

    Re-make bed
    HHI

    Living Room and Entance/Porch
front door - got to wait for it to cool down first. Its been in full sun since 6am so can't do much until maybe 4pm when it might have cooled down!
    HHI

    Kitchen

    Wash knick-knacks/canisters
    Clean sink and draining board
    Clean microwave inside and out
Empty fridge, clean shelves and doors and move any nearly out of date stuff to front to use up next.
Clean under sink - throw away any manky looking bottles/rags etc..
    Straighten drawers/cupboards
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards.
    Extras
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps - make them twinkle!!
    • Buy yourself some flowers from the shop.. your reward for making the kitchen shine!
Just waiting on the kitchen floor to dry then I'll go swap washing over, make my bed up with the sheets, get some lunch and tackle the rest of the downstairs list. Shouldn't take me long at all I hope. ;)

Did no flying this weekend and not much last week either - just been far too busy. But I made up for it last night and got lots done downstairs so it's looking loads better now. Just need to keep the momentum going and do some more tonight. Two loads of washing on the line this morning before school run & work so I've hit the ground running today!

Give something away each day this week, here are some ideas:
    Old uniform to another parent
Outgrown garden toys to a neighbour
Excess home produce to a friend
A bag of stuff to the charity shop
    Magazines to GP/Dentists
