I've spoken to DH and he is holding up well, hoping to be home tonight for DS3's cricket.

Another tray of SRoll cooking, half way through making the first lot of quiches, all the food is putting me off lunch though.

  • So sorry Dusty to hear your sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family xxx

Back from the hospital. Took my pals wee boy with me cause she was going to get her bloods done before her chemo on Thursday. He was a wee angel. OH had his stitches removed and he'll be off for at least another month!
Walking on the main road back to the car I found a bottle of methadone so that was dropped into the police station as it wasn't dispensed at the hospital. I shudder to think what would happen if a kid had found it as it was right next to the play park!

Fly wise I've done very little
    Dogs out and fed
DS1 sorted and put out to summer school.
    Bleach down the pan
And that's been it just having a cuppa and then I will decide if I'm cleaning or cross stitching!

Dusty - so sorry to hear your sad news, lots of hugs for all of you x

DH is also booked in to have a Flexible Cystoscapy next week [camera in a place that will bring tears to his eyes] so at least things are moving in the right direction

I've done lots of cleaning upstairs and hoovered and mopped downstairs, took the dog out for a walk, he's now lying on the floor completely worn out and panting rather a lot

Too hot now to do much more and I've a bad head coming on so coffee, tabs and food are needed

So sorry to read about your FiL, Dusty.

I am still here, lurking, but flying to my own list too. I keep going to post and then deleting it all again because it's rubbish...

Dusty, sorry to hear your sad news.
Just had fire warden training at work, did some shopping on the way home and took the car to the car wash. Someone's scraped the rear bumper :( and taken the paint off.
Finished lunch so off to try and motivate myself to do some work. I've had to rewash a load of washing as DH put it on just before we went out on Sunday and I've just found it so it's very whiffy!
    Will catch up later.

Sorry to hear your news Dusty.

Well I am still on my own again tonight as OH is off to watch the football and won't be home til 10:30. Hopefully won't be quite as busy as last night as tea is in the fridge (leftover risotto - yum) so no cooking required.

Will still need to walk the dog and work on the list though. Managed to get the dishwasher emptied and partly reloaded this morning in between walking the dog, eating breakfast and leaving for work!

    So here's the list:
Tiresome Tuesday - Living Rooms and Dining Rooms
    Only got 15 minutes..
    [STRIKE] 15 minutes tidying up[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Hoover[/STRIKE] and mop [STRIKE]these areas[/STRIKE]
    30 minutes to spare
    [STRIKE]Dust soft furnishing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clear the table/coffee table [/STRIKE]and wipe it
    Got an hour...
[STRIKE]Eat a frog [/STRIKE]- cleared some of the office, it's my room of doom!!
    Extras
[STRIKE]Use something up - food, bottom on the handcream etc [/STRIKE]
    Ebay two items
    Put away washing
    [STRIKE]Cook pasta for tomorrow's packed lunch[/STRIKE]

PS. What is eat a frog???
