I am about to have my second shower of the day - and wash my hair - as I'm going out tonight for our old wives' group's annual Safari Supper (though we're now too old to go marching from one house to another between courses: we stay put in one place) and I don't think powdered plaster dust would be appreciated as a condiment!

Kiddies away to bed. DD was very tearful when I collected her, she said she was sore (down there), and didn't want to walk home. She was walking at snail pace so I ended up carrying her. Turns out she needed the toilet and "it's stuck" poor little lamb. I have just bought her some prune juice to try help her tummy (she was like this when the milk intolerance was a problem) but she's decided she doesn't like it :cool: so I'll see if I can get to the nurse with her this week and get some more lactulose and see how much to give her.

Anyway, she is lots better now after a "visit" and smiley before bed. Now have to fill in DS eyfs transfer record for school.

I have lovely tidy ordered wardrobes in my room, 1st double jackets, 2nd double OH's shirts and tops with his jumpers in the cages, 3rd double my tops and trousers with my jumpers, nighties, scarfs, bags all in separate drawers in cages, 1st single my dresses, 2nd single OHs trousers. So I'm well chuffed all wardrobes dusted inside and out. Floor hoovered, 1 bags of old clothes in recycling bin, 1 bin bag of rot chucked. Hall hoovered, bathroom s/s clean mats put down, ironing all put past, LR hoovered again and I've just got round to making DS2 and I our dinner. So that's me quitting for today catch you all in the morning xxx

Hi there. Rant alert! Back from our short trip to France and back to chaos - our new neighbour has started to have a huge amount of building work done, without a word, without proper consent and we are the ones living almost within a building site! Stuff flying down the chimney and down our party wall into our 'studio' attic - I am so mad with him I am seething!!! Rant over!!

Sorry, but I am getting more cross every day - I think some people think they are above the law or have no consideration whatsoever. Anyway, despite all the mess and noise I have done some flying, and managed to get washing out and dried at night, after the builders have gone.

It's my OH's birthday today, too, so am just about to serve up a special recipe curry for him, so off I go! Happy Birthday to all those flyers and their families that are celebrating today. X

Good wishes all round, and good health vibes - Lamewolf, we passed MK on the way home and I gave you a quiet wave! I do hope your painful paws are soon feeling much better.

A lot of you sound do busy, despite this heat, so good flying vibes all round!! R x

Defrag/back up pc

Whew knackered! Got home, fed me, walked the dog, fed the dog, hit the list - amost all done except defragging PC and sorting desk drawer....not going to happen now. I will photograph the ebay stuff before I go to bed though. Extras done: hoovered downstairs, general tidying (about 10 mins).

This flylady stuff is exhausting! Hopefully it will give me the clean house I'm after though

Yes but I hadn't started their dinner and I had two spare in the freezer so not a problem.
