Mr A delivery put away, database now 60% of way through :( I think it doesn't like the heat. Thing is, whilst it's running I can only use email and internet. Shame ;)

We have food! Poor kids were eating dry breadsticks and fruit strings for breakfast! (They do have brekki at nursery too!). But we now have plenty of fruit, cereal, yoghurts etc for suppers.

Ooh it's nearly 80%. I'll go wipe the front door...

ETA Doh! He's back, I can hear him in the garden. B(_)gger!

Laptop and phone battery both need charging so I'm stopping the cleaning upstairs for now as there's not that much left to do anyway and I was listening to stuff on the laptop and in the middle of a text conversation :p

My bedroom is the cleanest its been in years as there's actually no junk pile and in theory nothing lurking anywhere! :D:j Just need to make my bed up now I think and it'll be done.

    Clean bath/shower/sink and toilet

    Master bedroom and Landing
Check firealarms are working, change battery if necessary. - mine need to be replaced as they're not working. Think I'll phone the landlady over that one, and make a list of things that she needs doing in the house before hand ;)
    Make bed

    Kitchen
    Wash knick-knacks/canisters
    Mop/brush floor
    Clean sink and draining board
    Clean microwave inside and out
Empty fridge, clean shelves and doors and move any nearly out of date stuff to front to use up next.
Clean under sink - throw away any manky looking bottles/rags etc..
    Straighten drawers/cupboards
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards.

    • Buy yourself some flowers from the shop.. your reward for making the kitchen shine!
I need to find a new polish, mine has given up working  I'm sure I have a "spare" either under the sink or lurking in the cupboard. Off to vacuum the kitchen etc after dropping the box of soap powder in there before

Well my ironing is done but SS came in to get some paperwork. As it was in my wardrobe I got it out then decided to clear it. I have pulled the cages out and emptied them of their contents and I have made one major mess just stopped for a cuppa and then I will get back to it. I wish I hadn't started :(

I'm in, thanks for the list, BUT after a very hot night I slept in this morning, and now after the paid stuff, it's too hot to do anything so I promise to try harder tomorrow.
Spend less now, work less later.

Another binbag of junk flung :D The wheeliebin was only emptied this morning and there's 2 bags of rubbish in it already even though I emptied the bins before the binmen came :D

Cleaned DDs whiteboard off. She'll probably moan at me, but there was nothing on there except "book" written repeatedly and something so smudged it was illegible. Think I'll have some ice-cream and then do downstairs.

Sounds like someone is clearing rubbish using the alleyway next to the house so I'll leave cleaning the front until they (and the binmen who come weekly to clear the fly-tipped stuff in the alleyway) have finished. I think I'll have earnt a nice soak in the bath tonight :D

ETA: I love modern tech - tweet from DD's school that they've arrived safe, lots of kids (and probably staff) excited at having a pool in their hotel, and they're off to buy dinner! :D

I've dipped myself and am now sparkley. In a rare flash of genius, I realised the only place my missing bra could possibly be was behind and under the chest of drawers - how aptly named, now I think off it. I am both clean and well-supported, if a little dusty.
    Better is good enough.

    Two bags dropped at CS
More food bought for us and for tomorrow.

Time for a cuppa next and then I want to make soup and cook the pizzas for tomorrow to allow them to be totally cold before packing.

A little late in the day, but Happy Birthday to Mumto5's DS1.
    What is this " i r o n i n g" that you speak of?
It's something you put on the "jobs to delegate" list.:D;)
Still doing my own thing here and failing miserably at keeping up with the thread, sorry :[

Dh has a date booked for his deep ct scan to see if they can find out the cause of this awful pain he's getting, 2 weeks till it happens, I'm hoping they find something cos thats a whole lot better than them finding nothing
Don't you dare apologise for not keeping up!:naughty: You've got far more important stuff going on than worrying about a few cobwebs. (((HUG)))
I hope to goodness the deep scan finds what's going on and your poor DH can get some relief - there's nothing like pain to completely debilitate you (trust me, I know!) Coping vibes for you both, to get through the next fortnight til the scan.:o

Jessie's gone home, and I've removed three Dys0n-loads of black dog hair from the floor.:o Next guest arrives lunchtime tomorrow - newcomer, name of Sassy. She's a labradoodle, so hopefully not so much hair for the next fortnight.;)

Just waiting for the wax to melt to do a wax bath for my paws (front and hind:D). I went to close the car door after getting out (visited the greengrocer "local centre" in the next estate), and my right wrist gave me such a violent and sudden jolt of pain it made me yelp!:(

Mr LW helped with the cleaning today, too (he was on early shift, wfh) he dusted while I did the Dys0n Tango.:D I told him I owe him a beer for that; unsure if he heard me/took in what I said, I guess I'll find out later.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
