So tired. And a bit emotional.
finish work this week. Will still have to go in during the holidays to finish up completely which I didn't want to do but hey ho. This is me we are talking about here.
Money is a MESS. Pay day needs to get here fast!
It was a mistake to move the money to the other CC it has cost me nearly 200 pounds
However I do have online access and can make payments every day once the holidays start plus the loan is gone - payment went out today. This way I only have to log into one place and can pay all my odd bits to that CC account.
I will need to pay my savings back and with the change in earnings re think my savings plans.
Current debt= 5135 - 18 = £5117
have loads to do. It is a difficult week. which is a shame really because I had the BEST weekend with my friends. Must hang on to that

I feel your pain guys, my payday is tomorrow - midnight is taking soooooo long to get here!! Although, pretty much all of it will fly out my bank account as soon as it goes it, but it will mean some debts are paid off so that is the main thing!
How long do you still have to wait?1st Jan 2014 £20,600 / 1st Jan 2015 £15,572.90**Feeling Hopeful that 2015 will be our Debt Free Year**0 -

So glad work is over. will write more about that later as I got quite tired and emotionallast night and am still quite tired!
Over the summer I am going to try and pay off 750 from the CC.
Again more on that later

Oh the Forum is back!
What a relief! Sims was getting boring! and e bay was getting tempting.
So am free from work. have built a hutch and decided to dig a fish pond (!) bit nuts but it has been on the things to do list for ages and I finally feel like I can do things again. I feel so light in this respect, like nothing is dragging me down.
Luckily it is raining so that should soften the ground for the huge hole I am going to dig!
Money wise things are ok. It was mistake to transfer to another CC but it is done now, no use in crying over spilt milk.
Hopefully, providing I am careful I should be able to get the CC to below 5000 by the end of the month which would be good psychologically.
I do have my 2 pound coin savings jar, may use that and my old sealed pot challenge to put towards the CC.
This month's wages are going to work a miracle.
I miss the ex, this is the last weekend we had plans and I foolishly didn't make any to replace them. He texted the other day. None of it makes sense. I try not to think about it and although not dating have stuck up a friendship with a new guy who seems good so far. I must move on. I am moving on.
My best friend and I are having some difficulties too. She didn't know about the depression (well I don't think she did) and is upset that I am not around. I have found it really hard and was very hurt by what she said. It has been such a hard six months in many ways. I guess all friendships hit hard times. Hopefully we will sort it out.
Need to snap out of this!
have done banking, got about 200 quid to last me, which should be fine.
got lots of chocolates from work so going to tuck into a box of those - will put it in the fridge first. It is the small things.....
Tomorrow sometime spent digging (!) some time spent paper working and de-cluttering.
must do pp* claim.

Hi Buffy
You sound as though you're doing really well and so glad to see you're moving on. Onwards and upwards! And the job that got you down so much has finally finished so that's good. Good luck with the fish pond. We've got a huge one in our garden, big enough to swim across if you were mad enough. Only got one fish left in it though as herons polished a lot of them off. We've got a plastic decoy heron now so hopefully when we've re-stocked the fish will be safe. I think a pond would be a good project for you to start and water features are very relaxing. Your finances are sounding good too.
Enjoy the chocolates!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
A little Review of the list
1. To pay off 2000 pounds of my debt total
by the 22nd of Oct, doable. That would leave me 3000 pounds in debt, may be possible to pay off by the end of the year? maybe.
2. Finish the Masters
got to be done, did my action research and now need to spend some time in the library.
3. To declutter the house
A scary prospect now I am on holiday. Room is back to being a mess got so many gifts from work - lovely but no where to put any of it!
have put gps in new hutch, did that Friday and am digging a pond
4. To save for a holiday in half term
This is looking unlikely. I may just attempt a couple of nights away.
5. To add to the deposit fund and to save 500 for Christmas - already have 218 so not so bad.
I can add 50 quid a month to the deposit fund. However 500 quid for Christmas, a little interesting. Originally I belonged to two challenges (plus one I started myself!:o) 365 - a pound a day (should have 208 pounds - have a tenner left!) and the Virtual Sealed pot which is all my odds and sods and that has 218. I was going to use them both for Christmas. It is really just a game I play I guess, so long as I have 500 pounds at Christmas it should work.
An idea - I could use the 218(VSP) to pay for the pond. Ok doing the pond is silly when I am trying to get out of debt. However I have really wanted to do this for such a long time. I am sick of putting stuff off cos of work and now I am free I want a symbol of this. It has cost 221 and so I have the money
Now since I have *used* that money(it came out of my spending money and an overpayment on the CC I made by mistake) I can use the actual 218 for go in to my 365 and keep that up to date - have done that challenge for ages and want to keep it. Then I can restart the VSP.
6. Spend more time with friends.
This one is here cos of the problems I mentioned with one of my oldest friends. Makes me so sad. Any how am seeing my friends Tuesday and making an effort to make some plans to see other people.
7. Sort out my money situation in terms of "investments"
I have 100 pounds in zopa and £250 in premium bonds. I still need to check the premium bonds.
8. Make a plan for living elsewhere
I am seriously investigating caravans! can't afford anything else!
9. Finish my Tefl course
This is serious! only have 21 days left
10. Get fit. seriously and sort out my wardrobe.
Wardrobe needs to be done. Today sitting here I can't see how I get the motivation but that might be because thinking about the previous 9 has taken ages and I am hungry!!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Loving the list buffy:T
My somewhat shorter version.....
1 pay £2000 off the dastardly cc by 26 October - paid £350 yesterday but this is a tight month with us just having come back from holidays hoping for bigger payment over the next few paydays
2 a general declutter of the house but in particular the unit in the hall ( stuffed with paperwork ) , the spare room , the cupboard in the utility room
3 get to the gym or go running 3 times
