  • Good Evening :hello:

    Just a quick drop in from me. Absolutely cream crackered from our ride - managed somewhere in between 26 and 28 miles all told! PHEW! Granted it was sort of mostly on the level - although the gears on the bike got used plenty too ;) So not all flat :D

    Wonderful day - a NSD :j and yet we were treated to riches!

    Upsidedown Bear - did the parachutes fail, hence the balloons??? :rotfl: Love those smilies, can't help but..... smile, when you see them :D Thank you :D

    I'll do a better update tomorrow, but in the meantime, my curry is cooked, so I'll just be grateful for these 3 things today;

    for the volunteers who opened up and maintain the cycle track that we used today - THANK YOU :D

    for all the considerate dog-walkers, rambler/hikers and other cyclists that we encountered today - we all shared the space and were so friendly to each other, which added to our day :D

    for the great 'outdoors' :D

    Thank you for popping by, leaving lovely smilies, and above all, being such great folk :D I greatly appreciate it :D

    Curry calls! See y'all later.

  • Evening Greying,hope you've had a good day. The sun was glorious :)

    I've used one of Anjum's Indian cookery books as inspiration for November. I'm doing a cannellini bean curry one night which sounds versatile. It can be served as a soup if blitzed, or a side dish.

    SC will be earning its keep the coming month.

    How did you know? ;)
    Fortunately Smilie always makes sure he carries emergency balloons when parachuting :D

    Last week he discovered one balloon wasn't enough hence balloons :p

  • Hi GP

    I am so with you. Eating out is either disappointing or very expensive or both and some.

    Yes, it's hard work but so rewarding. I'm totally with you in that. We quite often share a family meal, all taking a bit along - it really is the best eat out experience. :)
