Good Morning :hello:
Hey Bear - You OK today? Your goodnight smilie took me right back to the children's books, 'The Rescuers'. I love it when 'ordinary' things are illustrated in quirky ways. And thank you for your Friday smilie. 'Feed the Birds' from Mary Poppins was on Elaine Page's R2 show on Sunday as we were travelling alongTuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag......
Hopefuljoy - are you at Term's mid-point yet?
So, Friday already. Still, the week hasn't whizzed too much, considering we are on hols. It usually goes triple the speed of a normal week doesn't it?
We've lots of itty bitty bits of 'admin' to do todayBut if we get it out of the way, then that leaves the weekend free :j So that someone can watch the motorcycle racing.....
:rotfl: Actually, I must look up what time that starts, as I'm pretty sure it is from Sepang in Malaysia, so it'll be earlier in the day 'our' time.
Dinner this evening will be Tanzanian Black-eyed pea and coconut stew. I have made it before, but it's another one of those 'keeper' recipes, so it gets wheeled out now and againI know what curry I'm going to make for tomorrow's meal - after all, Judes is still in it to win it, so I can still legitimately claim that Saturday is Strictly Curry Murray - Well done Judes, I didn't think that my 'silly' little challenge would last the whole month - but ya done it
Aren't Jamie and Andie coming to see her this week? I hope they do. Mind, I hope they don't take the focus off the competitors either. However, to get back to the point I began making....... I'm wondering about 'accompaniment' with the curry.. hmmm, will give some thought, just in case there is anything 'new' I can try
Right, I've had no coffee..... again, so I'm orf to find the kettle
Thanks everso for popping in, reading and being great support to each other, and above all, me. You are, indeed, lovely people
See y'all later.
