Also, how about chopping up some brambles and nettles and putting them down on the flowerbeds. You need to stop them having such a comfortable crap I think. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

I've heard broken eggshells is good - won't hurt kitty but uncomfortable enough under paw to stop them squatting. and free (if you eat eggs anyway!
You can get cat silohuettes so the other cat thinks there's a cat there already but their success is dubious
My gran used to put out bottles of water out as she reckoned it'd look like eyes glinting in the sun to them. Never any poop but i don't know if the two are connected :rotfl:
Lion poop seems to be the best one - cat's won't go in a bigger cats territory and i don't *think* we can smell it but i don't have that problem so i've never tried itLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

lion poo lol. I live in the North East so no zoos up here, but I know you can order on amazon.
I'm going to try the brambles and some spikes. If they don't work, lion poo by post may be the next thing!:j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0 -
Tie string to some CDs and hang them in trees and bushes in the areas you want to scare the cat away from. As the CDs move in the breeze, or if the cat should happen to bump them, the reflections from the shiny surface will frighten the cat away from the area.
I copied and pasted this from ehow, but its something I've read as a suggestion a few times before. It's worth a try, and if you don't have any CDs you can buy packs of blank ones in poundland.0 -
If you hate cats you'll love this video. Possibly the best video out on the internet!

The best advice I have seen on here is some crumpled chicken wire, it is unobtrusive and you plants and flowers will grow thoughtmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I've seen that before, hysterical!:j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0

Aileth is correct, bleach encourages cats to "go" there. All you have done is kill the worms in the soil where you poured it. Short answer, you cant stop cats doing it where they want.0

won't pouring bleach on the soil have just poisoned all your plants too?
We have a cat, and we also have various other cats crapping in our garden, and yes it drives me insane too, but sadly aside from shovelling it up and chucking it over the back, I don't think there is much you can do.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
