I think we'll crack soon! Getting very chilly. Hoping to last just a couple more days so we can say it wasn't on until November :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

I hope it lasts a nice long time for you.
We live in Cornwall so about as mild as it could possibly be! Plus our house is pretty small so once e.g. the kitchen is warm from cooking the rest of the downstairs has the chill taken off. Insulated curtain over the front door has killed the drafts. Mr Delta is one of those very warm blooded types, he's only just moved onto long sleeved teeshirts, and Small seems to take after him. So with a couple of slankets, a fleece sleep suit for the little one and me in a big jumper we're doing okay!I had a slanket and it disappeared, very upsetting lol xx
Oh no! I reckon time to treat yourself!
Bit of an update as it's that most glorious of days - pay day! :j
Bonus plus a few hours overtime last month have helped a lot. I have done budget for the month and boldly transferred £300 into the op pot. I think (but must call up and check) that it will be about £350 to reduce the term by another month so not too far off.
I have an expensive month coming up - weekends away x 3 (that sounds really excessive!), birthdays and car being MOT'd and serviced. Hopefully I can do all this in as frugal a way as possible.
Aims for the month:-
- 15 no spend days
- stick to budget for all planned events - it's written out and in my purse so I have no excuse for forgetting what I had allocatedSealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

Thanks Watty
I'm just at my friend's house after a lovely evening of catching up, Italian food, a beer and a large gin and tonic. No pud though *looks on bright side*.
Lovely lovely time (am light weight so slightly drunk right now)

Damn. Went over budget this weekend. Turns out I can easily ignore the nicely written out budget in my purse and get a second bottle of wine with dinner.
So.... I have re-jiggled the rest of the month's budget and written it on a fresh piece of paper! Will have to be extra careful for the rest of November.
(it was soooooo worth it though - I had a blast)

Well done Echo!
You can see your breath here today, properly cold now. Fair play to you for doing it with no heating!
