Evening all. Been away for the last few days at Warners Sinah Warren on Hayling Island. My DH thought I should have a few days relaxing before I go in to have my new knee at last. Lovely to just be waited on & they had some good entertainment especially The Rat Pack tribute - part of the Las Vegas theme.
We had plenty of rain & wind but luckily none of the snow you have experienced further north.
CW - sorry to hear everything has been put back for you but at least it sounds as though you will see a Consultant who should be able to explain the problems. It's really frustrating and difficult when you can't do everyday things that you want to.
Jeferey - Poor you with an on-going bad back. My DH has this problem & was given a spinal injection earlier this year but it hasn't helped. He has tried to get his review date brought forward but apparently they have a huge backlog of people with back problems. I suppose it is another sign of the population getting older.
Take care and keep warm indoors.

red, it sounds like you had a nice rest before you have to face surgery on your knee. Hope all goes well and your pain free and running around as normal very quickly.

We had more snow yesterday but it didn;t stick this time as the sun came out and melted it. Its been frosty overnight but the sun is out again and will melt it soon.

Another wet and drizzly day for us here. The last bit of snow on my garden has melted away, thats from Friday so it shows how cold it has been. It was only a few shovel fulls that was thrown on the garden to make a bit of a pathway to the car.

Enjoy your seminar Jeferey, at least its a change of scenery.

Thanks CW but unfortunately it rained all day, however my colleague drove both ways - result

Did a tray of tomato seeds at the weekend and put them in the propagator in the conservatory, a few have sprouted already

At last a day of no meetings, training or trips out!

Enjoy your day of peace then Jeferey now your meetings etc have fizzled out for a while. I used to find a lot of meetings and training days were so boring I actually would have preferred to be at my desk working.
