Morning CW and Kerri
Same again this morning - FOG! Forecast to clear by lunchtime - sunny 17°CIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Good morning guys
Nice and sunny now, just a bit chilly but not bad for the time of year. Put it this way, it will dry my washing when I get it out later. lol.
Went to a bathroom shop yesterday, they are doing me a quote, but expect it to be high. Another customer in the shop said she is wanting her bathroom doing and one shop said, think of what you want to pay, double it and then add some and you still won;t of guessed the right amount. Seems to be big money in bathroom make overs. The brochures don;t have prices in but the taps on display for example started at £125 for 1 tap.............nightmare prices.

Wow, silly money for a tap. We've got some kind of leak in shower in the ensuite. Floor was wet the other day so I took side off shower and it looks like it's coming down from behind tiles in one corner. Looks serious, will need plumber to check it out, booo ;(
Afternoon CW and Kerri, take careIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Good morning kerri and Jeferey
Today we have fog, quite a bit of it too. So its damp with it and I have to put the heating on to warm the bathroom up a bit. Still coughing a lot so don;t want to risk getting a chest infection. Hope the fog lifts in a bit.

Morning CW and Kerri.
Managed to get hold of plumber we like and trust but he can't come till next Friday. The leak wasn't quite as bad as I first thought so I've rigged up a small bit of plastic so the occasional drip we're getting isn't going on floor so it'll be fine until then (I hope!).
Fog lifted here much earlier than yesterday, nice and sunny now. Hope your cough goes soon CW....
DW managed to get some bread mixes at local Sainsbobs reduced for 19p - excellent. I'm still using our bread maker every week for my sandwiches at work. My favourite is Parmesan and sun-dried tomato bread.
Out for lunch with DW today (using 4x clubcard vouchers of course) then this evening we're going to see an artist who we've got a few works of at an art gallery with free drinks and nibblesWe went last year and he did us a dedication
Enjoy the weekend everyoneIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Morning kerri and Jeferey
foggy here today but will lift later and we should have some sunshine.
Got an odd question for you both. How does a frog get in a closed big wheelie bin.? My green bin was 3/4 full of grass and twigs etc and my ds went to put something in the bin, lifted the lid and a big fat frog is sat looking up at him, gave him a fright it did. lol. But how did it get in there? Luckily he spotted it and put it in the pond as the bins are being emptied on Monday.
Have a nice weekend guys

Evening all. Sorry I've been AWOL for a few days, between boot camp, yoga, pole and work I've been somewhat tired in the evening.
cw I suspect the frog ended up going in when the grass, twigs etc got put in and then found his way to the top. I recall once my mums lawn got really long and she was strimming it in the spring as it was too long to mow, it was full of baby frogs which I had to catch and relocate to the pond.
jeferey glad the leak isn't as bad as thought, why are they never in a 'convenient' place. Speaking of which, how's your window cw ?
Had two hours of pole practise today (only planned to go for an hour) studio I've not been to before, it's in an old squash court and omg it was freezing, brrrr. Bruised and achey now so early night for me I think after I watch doctor who on iplayer.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning kerri and Jeferey
kerri - don;t know if he could have got sucked up with the lawn mower, he was a big un. But he is safe now. My ds usually checked the lawn for the baby frogs and moves them as we have a pond and end up with quite a few baby frogs around the garden.
Wow talk about exercising, no wonder your exhausted in the evening kerri. Hope you had a nice cuppa when you watched Dr Who.
My window in the lounge hasn;t changed, it still looks damp but isn;t any worse so still not papered over the patch. Feel it will never go. My bil told me to wallpaper over it and ignore it but thats not me, I need to know its sorted.
Yesterday was miserable, we had heavy fog which was supposed to go mid morning and lasted all day. Woke up today to another weather warning of fog. Its not foggy atm but its grey, damp and cold. Where has that lovely weather of Friday gone..
