    Morning CW and Kerri :D

I misread your post CW and wondered what you were going to do with loo roll in your front garden :rotfl:
I had a look at the forecast (like I said before what do they know but I hope they are right this time!) and apparently it's should be OK this weekend and then it's going to warm up a bit by Thursday next week going into the weekend, maybe as high at 20°C / 68°F woohoo ;)

    Watch this space.................

    Morning kerri and Jeferey

:rotfl:Jeferey, loo roll:rotfl:. Got some log roll from B&M, it was only £3.99 a roll so got 3 rolls to put between our front garden and the neighbours. We want to put the weed mat down and cover it with bark to keep weeds down. Will try anything to keep weeds down tbh.

We werent able to do the garden yesterday as my dh went somewhere so my ds cut some new floorboards to replace the damaged ones on the landing. We ran out as was 1 short so he can;t put it down till get another floorboard next week from B&Q. Still we are trying to plod on with jobs that have needed doing for ages.

Really need to get someone in to look at the bathroom next week as well.

Hope your prediction re the weather is correct as its been a bit cold the last few days Jeferey.

    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

It was so cold yesterday as we had frost overnight and we have had frost again overnight, frost in September, stupid weather. lol.

Where has summer gone, its cold again today and I am trying so hard not to put the heating on this early.

Anyway, we should be back outside doing the garden today, hope it warms up in a bit.

We haven't had a frost yet but mornings are getting cooler.
Lovely here yesterday, sunny and warm. Had lunch at FIL & MIL's and sat in the back garden for a while catching a few rays :D.
Sunny again today, getting better :)

    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

We spent all day in the front garden yesterday. Going to B&Q for some turf later (if they have any). The border between us and the next door neighbour is almost finished, want another bag of bark to help keep weeds down.

Strangely we have never had trouble with cats using the front garden as a toilet before when we had big shrubs and conifers now its every day virtually. Hope they go somewhere else soon as my ds is sick of going out with a shovel and moving it.........................

B&Q didn;t have any turf but phoned around and found a company that does landscaping of gardens a few miles away had some and it was cheaper than B&Q's so we went straight away and got some.

Got some edging stones from B&M Bargains that were also £1 cheaper than B&Q's. With a bit of luck we will finish today. Also got some trays of pansies and viola's, 20 plants to a tray for 20p so they need to go in today as well.

Thank goodness it has stayed dry this last week and allowed us to get on with the garden.

    Hi CW and Kerri.
Did you not want to bother with seed CW, September is a great month for sowing grass seed. The lawn I sowed in the spring looks great now, my DW was amazed at the result :rotfl:
I know, turf is a lot quicker, glad you managed to get some and cheaper too. I'm not impressed with B&Q's near work - I walk past sometimes and it's piled high, drying out and going yellow quite often.....

The B&Q we go to is quite a drive away the other side of town Jeferey. We used to see a pallet of turf when we didn;t need it but the last few weeks as soon as they get a delivery it sells. They said they got a delivry on Friday and it was all gone by Saturday. We only needed 7 rolls so it only cost me £16 for the turf so it was worth getting.

To make up for it I got 3 trays of pansies and viola's for 20p a tray and there are 20 plants in each one. I wanted the whole of the front garden just to be lawn but my son wanted some flowers in a border.

Should finish it today as it took them ages to get the lawn level.
