Afternoon kerri and Jeferey

the plaster is almost dry in my bedroom, just a little bit still damp near the door where the plaster was thicker. Should be dry by tomorrow. Should of dried in 2 days but it will be 7 tomorrow. Its been raining every day, rained this morning when I went out.

Been to b&q and got a curtain pole but went to a few shops and cannot see the curtains I want so will look on ebay later.

kerri - I hope the ironing pile has gone down a bit, ironing is so boring.

At least your holidays are being put to good use Jeferey with the weeding/watering etc and some decorating thrown in. lol. Now which do you prefer, the weeding etc or a week in a nice caravan/b&b/hotel. lol.:)

For a change we have grey skies and drizzle. Definately not summer weather. Someone told me that it was due to get nicer towards the end of the week, but looks like they were wrong.

Free listing on ebay so that will keep me busy today. Want to clear more junk to help pay towards the cost of the plasterer/electrician/decorator etc.

Looks like today is going to be nice (hurrahh) the sun is out, just hope it stays this way.

Going shopping later, need to see if I can find some wardrobes I like, not found any so far and as the decorator will finish on Sunday I need to get moving.

Afternoon CW and Kerri (in answer to your question - holiday any day!). Hope you managed to get some wardrobes CW.
I managed to do the feature wallpaper wall for FD yesterday. She's really pleased with it and I'm happy with my first wallpapering effort in over 20 years!
Still dry here so had to go to allotment this morning to water again. Got some onions this time. The pumpkin plants are doing well, about small football size now, should be good for carving at Halloween.

Well done on wallpapering your FD's bedroom. I used to be quite good at wallpapering but not anymore so the decorator is back later.

Afternoon all, don't know where the time is going ATM, but a gorgeous sunny day here. Just doing dinner, OH fancied roast spuds so they are in the over. Nearly got a few more runners to pick, one is prob ready but no others, typical lol.

Have you looked at the IKEA Pax range CW, prob have, we got one off eBay and I really like it, although it was a bit of a wotsit to put up if you recall. John Lewis do a range very similar too. Right, better to put the veg on....laters!

DD2 wanted IKEA 'sliderobes' when she got her new bedroom. I've been quite impressed by them!

Not been the best day for me, went to hospital 17 miles away and they said I should have been at the one 1 mile from our house! Anyway, got procedure done and I'm all clear, phew.

Hope the painter could start yesterday cw, it will all be worth it in the end.

Gorgeous sunny day here already, only downside is I'm supposed to be running later, not til its cooled off though thank goodness.

I hadn;t even thought of ikea so will have a look online later. The decorator has finished and it looks lovely. Need lampshades, curtains, wardrobes and carpet and its done. lol. I do seem to recall the problems with your wardobes kerri, weren;t they white gloss ones? or am I thinking of someone else. I want white too you see to keep the bedroom very light.

Not been well the last few days so not been able to go looking for things so as I am feeling a little better will try and get on with things.

Your roast dinner sounds lovely kerri, love roast dinners, roast potatoes and gravy, yummy.

Glad you were ok Jeferey, despite the mix up with the hospital you got great news when you got the all clear.
